sometimes the best move is no move at all. unless you're Lakers and didn't have any movable assets whatsoever
when was the last time a team won a chip that made a blockbuster move mid-szn? i can't recall.

Man, the negativity...
This is why I don't post much here, anymore.
We get Victor Oladipo back extremely soon, got the ability to sign Caleb Martin to a real contract, can sign another two way contract, and have the opportunity to enter the buyout market all while staying under the tax.
We're currently first in the conference and have amazing chemistry as a team. We have strong depth, fantastic high end talent, and insane versatility.
We could go into the playoffs looking like this:
Pg: Lowry / Vincent
Sg: Oladipo / Herro
Sf: Butler / Strus / Robinson
Pf: Tucker / Martin / Morris / Haslem
Cc: Adebayo / Dedmon / Yurtseven
That's disgusting depth. If Oladipo has his athleticism and a somewhat passable shooting touch the league better be on notice, because nothing that happened today is going to keep us from tearing up the East...

We can if we trade for him this summer. That’s what I’m talking about.
A qualified player who has completed seven or eight years of service and has two years left on his contract is eligible for a four-year supermax (keeping the player with the same team for a total of six seasons).
A qualified player who has completed seven or eight years of service and has one year left on his contract is eligible for a five-year supermax (keeping the player with the same team for a total of six seasons).
A qualified free agent who has completed eight or nine years of service is eligible for a five-year supermax
Furthermore, teams cannot trade a supermax player for the first year after he signs the contract.
So is Mitchell ineligible to be trade this summer? I don’t get your point

Yea...that's not going to work. a 200 pounds SF, a cripple and an assistant coach to go against Giannis/Embbid/Durant.
We didn't address a big need despite being in win now mode

I agree that Robinson probably goes off now with the trade deadline over. He’s mentally fragile like that it was probably holding him down

Ya...this power rotation is not going to cut it. And we saw Embiid abuse Yurt7 earlier in the season if anyone thinks hell be of any help.

Or is the plan to get Yurtseven back into the rotation? No reason we couldn't bring both he and Dedmon into the game with Bam sliding over to power forward when we need/wantRexBoyWonder wrote:BBallFreak wrote:Man, the negativity...

Happy for Gladiator Yurt. Now Spo needs to stop messing with him. Rest Tucker down the stretch here before the playoffs and find out if the combo works.

I’m with you here BBall. I’m maybe one of the very few here who didn’t see the need for a trade unless for a superb improvement type player.
I re-watched some of the Yurtseven games and compared them with PJ Washington’s game, and the impact of a big clearly showed with Yurt.
I know Spo plays Dedmon ahead of Yurtseven, and rightfully so for the moment, but Yurt is going to be a beast. You don’t just throw that away for minimum to no real improvement.

And how was Embiid doing in the first half? People were amazed at how we were able to contain him.
Embiid just caught fire from mid-range in the second half.
We didn't lose that game because of Yurtz.
If you want to assign blame, try looking at Jimmy+Lowry+Duncan+Strus combining for 7 of 43 shooting.

embiid abuses everyone.... No one to trade for that can stop that...
I also saw Yurt be quite effective against Embiid as well, so not a total loss.
