Not sure how I feel about the valuations of the $ARKK stocks now.

Why do we need China? If we really had to, we could do everything through our NATO allies and without China. It may be painful at first and it probably would require changes to how we do things but it can be done. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea.

Because it's business. You can't compare a 150m economy to a stronger 1.5b economy. Hence why China can put people in camps and everybody turns a blind eye. But all the sudden, everybody can be righteous against Russia.

It's not as easy as "bringing those jobs back" to the USA. Who will we start exporting too? Especially our agriculture industry.

The rest of the world?

Of course, the way China violates the human and civil rights of its people is a tragedy but we are not going to war over it. China needs us too.

Which other countries?

It's fcked up. But we already trade with the top countries. The rest of the world doesn't even have clean water. There's no gain in trading with these countries. First world problems.

I would love nothing more than to disconnect from China, but I've never read a decent plan on how to do it without hurting us too much.

No politician is actually going to do this either, but it will basically kill their political career.

China: 1/2 its population is out of poverty.
India: 1/2 its population is out of poverty, maybe
Russia: 1/2 its population is going in poverty, highly likely

The West: 1/4 its population is in poverty, Maybe less

Things change though it doesn’t have to be that way if China wants to be a fair business partner and join the rest of the world. Moreover, they cannot sustain these types of human rights abuses forever.

They need the rest of the world too Maybe we begin to deal with the other third world countries and establish out manufacturing plants and facilities there? I’ve never really researched the issue so I’m just spitballing while I’m at the dog park.

Well, they've been doing it for a while now. $$$ first. It's only going to get worse from here.

From the Toronto Star, Interesting correlation between those who are against Ukraine and those who were against Covid vaccines:

Imposing tougher economic sanctions on Russia
    Vaccinated and Boosted 86%
    Unvaccinated 13%

In favor of Seizing the assets of Russian oligarchs associated with President Putin
    Vaccinated and Boosted 85%
    Unvaccinated 13%

Favor Cutting off oil shipments from Russia
    Vaccinated and Boosted 81%
    Unvaccinated 21%

The list contains other categories that seem to break down along the same lines.

They watch and listen for what the libtards want and then they just try and tear that down. It's all about "owning the libtards." Completely irrational.

Over 250,000 Russians have fled Russia over this war. Most are educated and journalists, etc. Basically, the smart people who would help right Russia's ship. Now they're gone.

Why don't I think they are all going to Missouri and Florida?

In support of why China doesn't want to get involved with Russia.
