Cleveland lost. NOLA almost did us a favor, but choked the game away against Charlotte.

Toronto apparently doesn't want the 6 seed.

Mills/Johnson are the two biggest reasons we lost the game. And I am quiet tired of Johnson trying to show off when this team is trying to win a ring.
I think this post belongs in this thread because it's directly affecting seeding. So let me break to everyone down your point the way I understood it.
Yes every win/loss with 9 games left definitely do. For example let's take scenario where we end up with same record as Craptors. Head to head, division and conference record will come to play to decide which team has an advantage. As currently stands
h2h is 2-2
division BK 9-6 last game vs Ping Pong. Craptors 8-5 remaining 3 vs Saltics, Philthy and Ping Pong.
Conference, BK 26-18 we got 8 conf teams out of 9 ( hou is only wc team ). Craptors 24-20 they got 9 out last 10 games vs teams in EC ( hou lol is only wc team ).
Now Craptors have much more interesting schedule because they'll have to play Thu vs Cavs, Mon vs Saltics, Sun vs Mia, Tue vs ATL, Thu vs Philthy and Sun @ Ping Pong.
All and all let's say we end up with same record but with better division and conference record, than we become 7th seed and will be hosting Craptors @ Clays.
I mean it's just one of 10 different scenarios that can just happen to be. Cavs and Bulls getting imploded most likely will make it indifferent but, also give as a chance to even get to 5 or 6 seed. I mean games have to be played. Most likely we won't find out up till last day.

I forgot to say the reason I mentioned teams like Miami, Cavs etc. If we end up with same record h2h, division and conference, than how teams did vs conference playoff teams did come to play. Meaning, our games vs Miami, Cavs and Ping Pong become for the home court advantage. Sorry posted while on the go.

i thought we lost the season series to them but you are right, its tied. We are 3 back in the losst column though...
Lets say they go 6-4, losing every game vs .500 or better teams and winning the others.
we would need to go 8-1 to tie them. which is doable. Say we split the miami/milwaukee games. we can run the table on the rest now that kyrie is back. i think the bigger issue is toronto going 7-3.
At this point, just dont fall to the 9 seed and we are fine. hopefully we get boston first round somehow for an easy win. but otherwise we can still beat any of them with kyrie confirmed.
Seth needs to get healthy. it doesnt look like we can count on patty for consistency

While I am not convinced Boston would beat us, it would still be nice to avoid them and have them play the Bucks in the second round; I don't mind Philly/Chicago second round as I feel we would stomp on either one of them. Only two teams I think will give the Nets a run for their money are Milwaukee and Boston.

I dont see how boston takes more then 1 game on us now that kyrie is back for home games. Kyrie didn't play well and it took tatum scoring 54 for them to edge it out vs us at home.
it would be a carbon copy of last year, we beat them in 5 with them taking a game where Tatum goes crazy

Boston is playing with solid chemistry, a great coach and clicking at the right time; we wouldn't be facing the same Boston team. Nets would probably win in 6.

chemistry doesnt really matter. we dropped 120 on them with kyrie playing poorly. they dont have a great coach. and tatum cant score 50 a night (while kyrie + KD WILL combine for 65-70 a night)
I think we sweep, but can see 5 games with tatum going off or nash incompetance. Boston is our easiest matchup in round 1, by far.

Question for you guys. Would you rather have Toronto win tonight or Cleveland?

That would make sense. I'd be surprised if you don't get the 7th or possibly the 6th seed before the season's end. The Cavs have the hardest schedule with half of their remaining games on the road (5) plus you own the tie breaker over Toronto. With only 3.5 game back behind the Cavs,I see no reason why the Nets can't run off a couple 5-6 game win streak especially with Kyrie back. That should be enough for a 7th seed and at worse play Toronto at home.

Raptors are now tied with CLE & a game behind Chicago, but lose tie breakers to both. It's very possible that Toronto can climb to #5, and CLE or CHI falls to #7.

Bulls will be playing match up game now. They got all tie breakers needed and calling Philthy name out now. Whether it 5 or 6 seed they don't care. They clearly understand that facing Bucks or BK in a second round is inevitable. So getting to the second round with least blood spend is their way.
Craptors scared to death of that 7 seed so they'll do anything to get that 5-6 seed. They don't want any part of us. Also the way Bucks going after 1st seed they can't afford any slip ups.
Cavs going to be easiest worm up team. To be frank, they don't belong in playoffs. Than again ATL looking like trash, hard to judge here.
My dream scenario will be facing cheatles in a first round. I really want to expose that mediocrity and rob it on Prok

My last update. Everything up in the air so it's my guess and wishful thinking here.
1. Buck vs 8. ATL
4. Philthy vs 5. Bulls
_____________________________
2. Cheatles vs 7. BK
3. Saltics vs 6. Craptors
If anyone didn't get the memo, Bucks going supper hard for that first seed. They steamrolling any team on their path now to avoid first round BK match up. Schedule is no cake walk but, they on the roll right now.

I think that this is pretty likely. Miami can't seem to stay healthy, and haven't looked like world beaters lately (watch me eat my words on Saturday.
Milwaukee may just be surging in order to gain momentum, not necessarily to avoid us.
Boston and Toronto would be a tough battle. Similar to Kyrie, I believe that Brown also does not have his vaccine, so would he have to sit out games in Canada?
Some people really have a way with words. Other people... not... have... way.

Cheatles have lots of issues if you take a look and start pulling a nit. I feel very comfortable spanking them and actually looking to find out our weak spots to improve. Spo and Pat will definitely throw kitchen and sink at us. Lack of superstar talent will be evident at the end, 4-1 BK will be my bet. They just good regular season team, nothing else. Good worm up team pretty much. In a perfect world you meet type of team in a second round.

We need to win out. This team absolutely must avoid a Toronto play in scenario at all costs.

Don't hold your breath man. Harden went down with calf injury at the end of the Laker game. Philthy coming out the 1st round is very unlikely even vs a team like Bulls. Also Bulls clearly calling their number and will sit DeMar accordingly.
You think Harden will show up vs us during playoff series
All and all I got no hard feelings towards him and actually thankful things ended up the way it did. It's just Harden really needs to reconsider the way he manages things in his daily life. Partying throughout the night and than go play took a toll and will take double affect from now on. Not our problem though
