just establish a knockdown 12-18ft midrange jumper like KG and keep that FT% moving up and up and we're ALL set !

Do you think so? He's a defensive specialist. I think he's more than an open jumper away from being the top 20 player. We don't necessarily need him to be a scorer, but I feel like if he is to become an all NBA player he's going to need his own shot creation in the postislandkid12 wrote:SLCceltic wrote:sam_I_am wrote:I hope Rob takes thousands of threes as part of his rehab.

lol he'd literally be scraping all-nba level if this happened. a fan can only hope.

He's never going to be a 3-point shooter. Just have him work on developing a short, faceup mid-range jumper.

After 6 seasons in the league, Al Horford had taken a total of 18 3 point shots. Never is a strong word for a developing player.

Re: Robert Williams, aka TimeLord
I’d rather he never shoot than take mid range jumpers. When he is outside the 3 point line, everybody knows the pass is coming and he is a great passer. If he took the occasional wide open 3 he would become so much more dangerous as a passer because defenders would have to rush him. He is a far better looking foul shooter than Baynes or Big Al so I think he could be decent from there.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

The last time I felt like this that we were gonna win the Championship was in 2010. I'm literally feeling like that if Rob gets back in the playoffs.

He must be doing amazing because they haven't even ruled him out for the first round. (It's unlikely but not impossible.)
