"Barry" is really good on HBO. Also, finished "the Tourist". Crazy stuff.

Barry is super fun. Excited for the new season. I haven't checked out The Tourist yet but it's on my list.

Please give me quick capsule about why they are so good?

If you guys have AppleTV+ I've been hearing great things about both Severance and Pachinko.

Barry is an action comedy about a hitman who falls in love with local theater and wants to become an actor. But he has trouble extracting himself from the hitman life and craziness ensues. Only 30 minute episodes so it's easy to breeze through pretty fast. Some great side characters and memorable scenes. Kinda reminds me of Dexter in some ways, but not exactly, and more of a comedy.

The Tourist (Aussie 6-episode thriller drama starring Jamie Dornan) has a similar premise to Memento without the elaborate timeline/non-linear storytelling.

I like Jamie Dornan - especially the one when he was a serial killer in Ireland.

My wife and I finished Severence too. I don’t know how I feel about it lol. I guess it gives me enough intrigue to watch a few episode of season before deciding to drop it or continue watching it.

Severance has enough mystery to keep you hoping but very little is ever delivered. I will watch next season but I expect to find it a waste of time in the end.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Christopher Nolan is a sicko. Love his movies, which I often need to rewatch to fully appreciate haha.
