Those are some big shoes he will never fill. Let's talk about replicating and or replacing Tim Hardaway & Alonzo mourning level players before you ever think to step over to the top 2/3 guard of all time threshold.

Yea I agree and I don’t think he will ever step over Wade, I think he’s accepted there’s nothing he could do to do that, which is why he said him and Wade, so basically top 2. Which is also a very tall task, 3 is doable and I’m glad he has high goals for himself.

it will be extremely difficult to come even close to that goal, bam is just okay compared to some great players we have had... it's obvious that he should be doing better by now if bam wanted to come even close to making that statement true, what will you do bam? playoffs are here

And another thing, I read earlier a post say Riley is going to shake up things this summer, because he's 77 years off age... I AGREE... and bam is the Prime Suspect

Right. He needs to be a perennial all star to surpass what Timmy and Zo were. Those guys were first team all NBA. Bam isn't that. A youthful comment if I ever read one by Bam.

Overall collective Miami Heat resume Bam will have a case by the time his career is over unless we trade him for Embiid or something this summer.

The all stars, all nba defense, and collective stats will come. Hopefully the all nba, DPOY, and championships will as well.

Bam will have plenty of opportunities to back up that talk ... starting this weekend.

Meh.

Had Bam come out and and said that he just wants to be a top 10 Heat player of all time, ya'll would probably be on him for not believing in himself as much and would be speculating that he has a lack of hunger and drive. Lol

Oladipo remains a total mystery to me. I have no idea if he'll get any burn in the playoffs. I have no idea if there will be any market for him this offseason.

I want the Heat to keep him on a reasonable deal, as I believe he is really on the way back and an opportunity to have a full season to integrate with the team would be great. But, I have no idea what as reasonable deal looks like lol

I dont have a problem with the quote and he has the talent to get there. The only critique I have of Bam is being passive. Put it into perspective, we’ve had some knuckleheads come through here over the years we wish would shoot less, a lot of just want him to shoot more. Like bro, im begging you to drive and dunk on someone’s head every time you touch the ball. Shoot it every time they’re 5 foot off you. I keep waiting for that Boston game 6 aggression to be the norm.

The problem young guys have is they don't have much perspective historically. Bam, particularly, likes to say he's going to do something, then never do it. Timmy and Zo were aggressors, even to a fault. Bam is ever hesitant.

Could see the Lakers giving Oladipo a decent contract and a starting role. They are desperate. Lol

Could be the best 'Nikola' in the eastern conference.

I have high expectations of Bam this postseason. Time to earn his keep and prove that he’s a max contract guy. It’s no longer the bubble ball, this is the real deal now. We’ll get to find out if he made the jump to star or has peaked as an NBA player

$147M on the books for them for next season--not sure how they'll get there unless they have a MLE available
