he is scoring 27 ppg on 60 TS%. everyone has off nights shooting the ball.

when he plays with lineups like tonight of:
Kyrie , Thomas, Blake, Johnson, Drummond

he is going to have to chuck no matter if its falling or not

& eat? too
looking questionably

In comparison, Giannis/Holiday are +11.2 Points/100 possessions.

Middleton is way better than whoever Brooklyns 3rd guy is.... Seth?

IIRC Milwaukee are 65 win pace when all 3 play. They are easily best team in East and should AT LEAST be back in finals

Nash is doing terrible job.

In fairness to Nash, it is pretty clear these guys don't want a coach.

Then not coaching them. You have to bring a system that include Mills,Seth,Dragic effectively. This year Nets is waay different than last year, they have pretty solid rotation.

The disconnect between James Harden and the Brooklyn Nets largely stemmed from his arrival to training camp out of shape, sources tell Kevin Arnovitz of ESPN.

Durant had been sympathetic to Harden's issues with the Houston Rockets and a need for a change of scenery, but he also expected his teammate to commit himself to conditioning and self-care when he arrived in Brooklyn, according to a source close to both stars.

Durant was astonished by Harden's lack of explosiveness and sluggish play, which he attributed to his conditioning rather than his hamstring recovery.

Sources say that Harden "found Durant's slant grating and self-righteous."

Harden and Durant were never able to resolve their conflict and the passing weeks led the former to become more isolated.

Harden eventually pushed for a trade at the deadline and was moved to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Not Durant's finest outing. Started out 1-10, finished 9-24. Definitely picked it up in the second half. Turned it over a ton. Had a big third quarter and was then quiet in the 4th. He made a three and a short jumper and missed three other shots, coupled with a rebound, an assist and a turnover on an offensive foul. That was his contribution while the Nets were trying to mount their comeback. Of course, again, he was huge in the third, but he was also gone for most of the first half. Kyrie, of course, floated them the whole game on offense. Good bench production, didn't allow incredible production from Boston... but Durant was just ass most of the game and that cost them in a nail-biter. Meantime, Kyrie had 18 of his 39 in the 4th quarter, and just didn't have enough help in this one.

Not the script I expected out of this game, for sure.

Felt par for the course for how KD has played against elite defenses like this pre Golden State.

I don't want to speak too soon but yeah those were my initial thoughts too. It was nice to see a team actually pressure him correctly after the way Milwaukee refused to send bodies at him and let him dribble to his spots unimpeded last year. Boston's wings and Horford are also a huge step up over 6'5 PJ Tucker for contesting his shots
