Dorks

I tried to find others but only found Oladipo and Herro wearing sunglasses in post game interviews.

This a real thing? And people wonder why Miami fans have a persecution complex. We're just not liked by the media/opposing fans.....and I wouldn't have it any other way. Makes it THAT much sweeter when we stomp their teams out of the playoffs and win 'ships. :)

11-12 J.Harden 31.4 min 16.8 pts
10-11 L.Odom 32.2 min, 14.4 pts, 8.7 reb
09-10 J.Crawford 31.1 min 18 pts

No all-NBA players. No DPOY. No MVP candidates. Overrated 6th man. No COTY considerations.

Yet, 1st place in the East and 3rd best record overall.. how does that happen?

The Lakers are loud and obnoxious with every possible move they make. Why does the media bow to this franchise? Are they that much more popular than the rest of the league?

They are all flash and no substance. A turd on the court. Also, they have missed the playoffs for most of the last decade lol

No all-NBA players, this one is easy Miami is a culmination of all its parts. And if you go through the list of All nba there isn't a single player you would take off to put in say Jimmy. There are 15 spots, and our players probably don't start to count until after 20. All NBA is not based on team record is an individual award, so our #1 spot wouldn't even propel our players up a notch.

No DPOY, unfortunately this one is easy too. We don't get recognition from the media, the Bam DPOY campaign started late. Bam missing games doesn't help his cause although its not the end all be all. Bam's significance to our defense is only explained by advanced statistics and metrics showing how he breaks out versus the other DPOY competition. We don't get enough televised games for the national media to see for themselves the eye test on how good Bam is.

No MVP candidates, this one is easy, most of our top players all missed significant time yet we didn't drop in production. Our strength is based on our bench which is deep to pick up the slack when starters missed significant time. Also outside of the Dipo 40+game in a meaningless season ending game or the occasional Herro 30+ game off the bench we don't savant scorers, nor do we needed them. We have zero case for Jimmy to overtake players like Jokic, Embid, Morant, Steph, Booker, etc.

Overrated 6th man, I think this one is oversold. Herro is winning the 6th man, its been the talk since the beginning of the year, you have one of Hollinger talking stupidity doesn't change Herro's rise this year. He may not be unanimous which is a shame cause you have some haters, but just trolls at this point. Reminds me of where a Unanimous MVP superstar year, and you have 1 or 2 idiots voting for somebody else.

No COTY, this one is easy as well, as there are two more deserving coaches based on record alone as well continued progression from last year. If Spo had performed well last year as a top seed and did the same this year he would of been top 2 for sure even with us having the 3rd best record. COTY is usually one or two years behind where you grab a garbage roster or revamp a roster and proper it to new heights. Unfortunately because Riley and team being so gifted in maintaining a good roster year in year out this will hurt Spo. I think Spo's best time to have gotten this award is where our roster a few years ago that had that long winning streak with a bunch of scrubs but we didn't make it to the playoffs, had he came the year after and pulled a top 3 seed in the east he would of gotten it for sure as he finished top 3 in COTY that year with scrubs. You almost need your team to suck completely at the end of the seeding and then come in the following year and work it, something Spo will never do here in Miami because our free agency and player development is always top notch.

No excuse for him not winning last year (Thibs winning it was a joke)......even less of an excuse now, but as with Spo, consistency could be his downfall.

Yeap, outside of the Lebron trinity years, its usually up one year, down the next, consistency is key for that award.

I agree with you all. It’s so damn crazy how we never get any love. Swap this entire roster, coaching staff etc to the Lakers and we’re getting tons of awards

Very concerned at not having Bam at practice. Another factor at keeping him from being a focal point of the offense
