4 games out of 82 that he had 30 plus points. that doesnt sound to me like a top 5 scoring player to me

*injuries does matter, with that said.....the sample is too small still

What point is this lol? Is that list the top player under 25 or the top scorers under 25. Come on now.

I'd actually rank Bam over Trae. I don't see the overall impact being greater for Trae. I know we are an offense first league, but Trae is a turnstile.

Marc Stein has long been a Heat hater. He wrote a scathing article about Riley and the Heat back in summer 2005, when they made the Toine Walker/Jwill/Posey trades. Of course he ended up eating ****, and it was even sweeter because he’s a Dallas homer.

But he apparently is no longer a voter, so that’s good.

Let them disrespect us all they want. We always better as underdogs. If we can make it out of the East they will all eat their words. If we win the championship... damn let them eat ****
Let's do this

If this is true it would somewhat explain the Dipogate dilemma. They need practice reps, let’s hope they’re getting them this week

It's been said a few times this year that this and other teams aren't practicing all that much although they probably are having shoot arounds and video sessions, I'd expect they've looked at it as less physical contact while COVID is still around.

Yep he has to stay home away from the team. This is time for Spo to implement his game plan in practice with the players. These breaks are important practice time that will not be available in between playoff games.

I just hope he doesn’t have symptoms and he’s locked in a gym or with a basketball goal at home or something. It hit him pretty hard pre bubble from what I remember

Strongly disagree. Trae is an elite shot creator and shot maker. He's literally the center piece of the Hawks offense. In a team where he's the only allstar level player. Bam has never had that responsibility of running the entire offense. Sure he's a defensive liability but because of his offensive output he's a far better player than Bam and its not close. I would trade Bam + picks for Trae, I would trade anyone on this roster + picks and not even blink. Players who can carry an offense for entire season are usually the top 10 players in the league. You just build a team around him that can cover his defensive weakness.

Besides his obvious offensive gifts and the counting stats to back it up, how do we objectively support his "impact" on winning games? Win shares? Playoff wins? He's got plenty of talent on that team.

I've waited a long time to say this:

DREAM BRACKET

And there's even a possibility it can get even better if Raps pull the upset, but I don't wanna get ahead of myself.

Anything short of an ECF appearance would be a massive failure. The three toughest teams will all have to duke it out on the other half of the bracket.

Trae is a modern Nash and possesses an alpha mentality.

Bam’s defensive prowess isn’t nearly enough counter his beta offensive disposition. He doesn’t sniff anywhere near Trae’s impact.

ESPN now saying we are underdogs against the 76ers are you kidding me . Never seen a 1st seed get disrespected so much. Even our bubble run was a fluke for some reason. What’s all the hate is it we don’t have a superstar ?
