Based on the way this season has gone, here is the likely outcome of the game: they get down by double digits, storm back in the 2nd, and then get screwed on some awful call at the end of the game and everybody on the GB and the popular media will either be happy about it or say they deserved to get screwed in some way because its the Clippers. Hope I'm wrong, but it feels like I've seen this movie before.

I agree, but Lue and the players can't control the dumb gimmicks that the league decides to force. What they can control is not playing favorites with Mook and Reggie in a must-win game when they were both horrible.

I guess that was our general attitude anyway heading into the season with Kawhi likely gone for the year, and that's even before we lost PG to the elbow. So we're back to where we started, although it was been quite a rollercoaster.

If we lose tonight, I'd still say there were more positives than negatives for the season (the only significant negative IMO being the first play-in loss.) Our guys hung tough without PG and Kawhi, we landed Norm and RoCo, emergence of Amir as a solid NBA rotation player, and Boston was a nice little surprise for a 2nd round pick.

In the offseason we hopefully re-sign RoCo and make another semi-significant trade to better balance the roster, and at least we can head into next year in as good a shape as possible.

This is un-freaking-believable.

We started out the day as 5 point favs, now a 1 point underdog at home.

Game 1 vs. Suns would probably be Sunday, Game 2 Tuesday, Game 3 Thursday. PG 13 could be clear by Game 3, that would be more than five days from today.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a big surprise to find out Kawhi is starting 5 on 5s? (grabbing at some nice thought)

Closer to the game it gets, less worried I feel.

Wish there was a watch party somewhere in the Valley though..get off work at 7 and would take me 45 to get to Staples so buying a ticket would be half way pointless but I just might

Somebody needs to be fired for the Kennard decision. You don’t full around with hamstrings.

I want to see the guys fight and keep the season alive. Maybe enough to get PG back. But a small part of me wishes they’d lose to get this awful season over with. I’m not proud of that small part.
