There was an assault on the rim in that fourth quarter with all those bricks.
you're really saying "playoff lavine" after literally one game?

At least with Lavine you could cut him some slack considering oddly enough that this was his first career playoff game. I'll give him a break here as it's a huge adjustment going from a regular season game to a playoff series knowing the opposing team will have plenty of time to scout the crap out of you.
Derozan on the other hand man it's like he ditched everything that he learned in San Antonio and went back to his bricklaying ways in Toronto. Though then again seeing him up close and in front on the Raps it's not surprising. 6-25?! My god he's learned nothing.
The real winner is the Spurs for somehow getting a 1st+2nd out of him and then Thaddeus Young to Toronto and upgrading their DET 22 2nds to a TOR 22 1st.
I feel for Caruso b/c he laid it out there and is a player that every team should kill to have. If Ball weren't injured, maybe Lavine stays more composed and isn't forced to do things he simply isn't capable of doing as Ball is the perfect complimentary piece to Lavine who does a bit of everything and doesn't need the ball to thrive.

He improved his passing over time, but he's an iso-heavy player and always has been. I had said some years back that if he went to the Spurs, he'd have a better time of it because Pops wouldn't take his BS and it ended up happening. He's got it in him, but under pressure, players revert to well-ingrained habits. Hopefully he can sort himself in this series for Chicago.

Maybe the Lakers will take him
