Crowder is going to injure someone out there with all his flops. The refs should give him a tech!

AD asking out was the best thing to happen to NOLA. I don’t know that I’d trade Ingram for AD straight up at this point. Would have to think it through hard.

17-2 FT advantage for the Pelicans despite have a good lead in points in the paint.

If Suns knew how to make a jump shot this series would look a lot better.

The Pelicans are just the more aggressive team and giving the Suns all they can handle.

This is a very nice showing by the Pelicans. This feels like one of those game that will end with Phoenix slowly stretching it in the 4 but they've competed hard.

Open disclosure: I was wrong about Ingram. He is a lot more talented than I thought. He seemed like a drifter when he was in Los Angeles but he is a lot more assertive than I recognized.

Genuinely curious:

Anyone here who hasn;t watched any Pels games prior to the play-ins/playoffs? What things jump out at you? Good or bad...

I'm always amazed by how the Suns manage to pull through and scrape together good games when things just are not going their way. No Booker? No three-pointers falling? No problem for them (somehow):

- They have a lot of very versatile players who step up to the occasion. Ayton and Bridges in particular have been great.

- They are relentless at attacking whatever mismatches they sniff out. For example, JaVale McGee is somehow killing the Pelicans on the interior in his limited minutes.

- They mix up and vary their offense quite a bit from possession to possession to keep their opponents guessing. Entire Pelicans defense is shaded towards CP3 to try and stop him from picking them apart in PnR? No issue, he still manages to pass to his teammates on wide open lanes to the rim. Alvarado tries to press him full court to squeeze out 8-second violations? They just have Bridges bring the ball down the floor next possession against someone who isn't pesky. This is just a tiny sample of the little things they have done tonight to gain an edge.

He was never a drifter in Los Angeles, he was only the youngest American player drafted at barely 18yrs old

I can't put him above Harden but he has an argument against anyone else. Skills have few equals, we've never seen moves like the helicopter flop before paul

This young Pelicans team are not scared of the Suns, they want all the smoke!
