Sir Charles in ChargeMiami Heat look to close out series vs. Atlanta Hawks
The Miami Heat are up 3-1 in a first-round matchup vs. the Atlanta Hawks. Game 5 moves the series back to Miami, where the Heat are looking to close out round one. Can Trae Young and the Hawks find a way to stay alive in this series, or will Jimmy Butler and the Heat end the Hawks’ season tonight?
Atlanta will face their biggest test of the season tonight in Game 5. The Heat do not want to extend this series any longer than it needs to be. I expect them to come out tonight and take care of business.
Do the Hawks have an answer tonight, or is Jimmy Butler going to take over and send the Hawks packing?

Re: Hawks vs Heat: Game 5 -- The Last Stand
Clint Capela (right knee) and Bogdan Bogdanovic (knee) are being listed as questionable for Tuesday's Game 5 vs. Miami.
Capela returned from the knee injury on Sunday and logged 21 minutes as a starter, and Nate McMillan said this morning that Capela was "fine," so we'd say he's a bit closer to probable. We should get another update on both Capela and Bogdanovic following Tuesday's shootaround, but we're not all that worried about either guy missing this must-win game for Atlanta.

Play loose, rely on the work you put in and don’t overthink it. Let’s just ball freely.

Might be the last game. Hawks need to protect Trae, Hawks should run a big line up with ...
Cap, Kong, Collins, Hunter, Trae
Trae can run through screen all game long so he can play loose.

In fact, this is the series where we missed not having develop plays with Trae playing off th ball.
Having a taller guy playing PG and Trae moving fast for catch and shoot would be the best answer to MIA defense.
It may work based on potential, even fearing the "two guys can't shoot 3s" lineup, but the main problem of this lineup, today, is that Capela, Collins and Hunter are avoiding physical plays, two are injured and one plays like he's avoiding to be injured again
We can't win a playoffs series in this situation, especially Vs MIA
So I would try a different thing: Delon in the starting lineup with Trae the 5 first minutes and see what happens. If it doesn't work, don't keep it.
I saw in several games that Bogi, Gallo and Onyeka had a good chemistry, I would play them together, maybe with Hunter to avoid having Clint, John and him at the same time.

On this, I 100% agree. A dozen possessions per night, having Butler and Tucker run through a half dozen screens trying to keep up with a smaller, quicker player who can score 30+ feet from the basket at high efficiency would break that collapsing defense of Miami. Allowing Huerter to run off screens simultaneously would completely wreck the opposing defense.
We kind of have that dynamic already with Bogdan as secondary ballhandler (or Delon Wright). We just don't capitalize.
With some aggressive offensive principles that encourage constant movement away from the ball, we could break records with our scoring. Nate is the problem.

Might be helpful if Hawks give him the Trae treatment with a box and 1.....wait, who am I kidding. This is Nate...won't even throw a double at Yimmy.

Or maybe not have him play?

Do the hawks have any pride? Butler and Spo doesn't think much of the Hawks at this point.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

Nothing this season has told me to expect a win when it comes to the Hawks vs teams without their star players. We have lost some ugly game like this all year.
