I have been screaming right from start of the series to use KAT's 3 pt ability more...he finally shot more than 5+ 3 pt shots in last 2 games. All that talk from those Inside NBA dudes about wanting to see KAT play in post has probably had some negative effect on the team...KAT playing in paint/post results in more turnovers and offensive fouls..KAT and the team needs to find the right balance between him playing in paint/post and shooting 3's. He needs to be shooting atleast 6-7 3 pointers every game.

Didn't he get 9?

And WTF do we pay Vanderbilt for if not to counter this EXACT thing?

All that and 3 points from victory.

Let’s upgrade this teams front court size and hands,
Get some high IQ, clutch proven, serviceable vets to fill out the roster. Let’s party.

Ant is Clutch,
KAT has shown he can be.
DLo is bust
Jmac SR clutchish serviceable bench guy
Jmac JR, needs some work
Vando, love the guy, not a long term solution
Prince, meh, we can do better
Beasley, rather have Heild, but the whole year was an off year.
Bev, great energy guy, bench player, not starter
Naz, goodbye
Nowell, meh, gets tunnel vision

We've been "learning" from losses for a long time now... I'd like to start learning by winning some games instead... Crazy talk, I know.

So simple … TO’s + OR’s = loss … done
Flip response to Love wanting out, "He has no reason to be upset, you're either a part of the problem or a part of the solution"

I disagree. Yes it sucks we blew it. We could have won but we didn't. We aren't where we want to be. Still a good game from a 7th seed taking on a 2nd. The Wolves have the talent to take the Grizzlies down but I think we just come up short on experience and mental toughness. Grizzlies are ahead of us on the curve, nothing to be ashamed about. Hurts to lose but we did, we couldn't close it out.

You don't blow 11 point leads in the 4th quarter. That should never happen. I know it does, but it shouldn't. Maybe lose one out of 10 games like that. We have lost two of them this series and came close to blowing a third.

Young teams do it. Bad teams do it. Inexperienced teams do it. Our offense died. Memphis went to hardball in the paint. Attacking the rim is the number 1 way t get easy points in the NBA. We don't get to the line, Memphis can and they have a monster like Clarke killing the glass.

We are in trouble if we don't have guys scoring and Ja is sifting through to the bakset. He will get rewarded.

That's what we have done for the last 9 months. We took a huge leap this year man.

Some of these things could have been fixed at deadline, they didn’t do anything. Teams like pelicans did and got way better.

I learned tonight that Van is only a hustle, low IQ rebounder. Those types cant overcome a athletic one. But a low athletic one with high IQ can beat both.

He was letting Clarke push him around for balls, some of those should have been fouls but still dude needs to eat and spend all summer in the gym.

I will say one thing...it might not be the worst thing to happen for Wolves future if Wolves lose this series and DLo had a stinker of a series.

It's a task to support this team sometimes. I always will, but it's something of a chore at times.

On the bright side, we're seeing a blueprint to improvement that we otherwise wouldn't have. For example;

We need more from the bench, particularly from Prince (who I do think is nursing an injury but still) and Reid. It would also help to have someone who can generate offence for themselves there, to take some pressure off when KAT/Ant are sitting.

We need to move on from DLo. He's been a complete non-factor on both ends and it's clear he's not suited to playoff basketball. Enjoy him when he's on, seems like a chill guy that everyone gets along with, but it's all a business man so he needs to go. And if KAT doesn't like it? Too bad. Not screwing up another chance at having a good team to appease a star without any talent evaluation skills (love you KG, but signing your boys cost us bad).

We also need size. And not, like Adams or someone like that. Just another 7 footer, even if he's borderline skinny ala Towns.

If dlo continues to suck, it’s simple offer him a lowball offer (what he is really worth) and if he balks let him walk.

HAHA What? am I the only one who saw Ant cost us the game? In reality we have a Kevin love in Kat surrounded by a bunch of Jr Smiths. Just because Ant made that 3pt shot doesn't mean he didn't cost us the damn game.

Yep. If we max this guy at 35 million a year+ for 5 years, then we just wasted kats prime and ants start.

I pray dlo can live off of 100,000,000 over 5 years. It’ll be tough. I don’t think the market will be there unless some scrub team opens the wallet.

So far in this playoffs, this team hasn't maximized the talent offensively..some of it is due to dumb turnovers and some of it also has to fall on Finch to not maximize their talent.
