I’m not saying Scottie will be one of the Top 3 GOATs like Lebron of course, but Lebron was never considered an elite sniper from long midrange and 3pt land either.

If Scottie develops a reliable midrange and 3 ball, he’ll be one of the top superstars in the league IMO. He has a ridiculous amount of offensive tools already in the paint for someone who was considered a “raw point guard” coming out of college. His ability to finish with his left hand astounded me this season. His rebounding and help-blocking instincts are already stellar bordering on elite. And of course, enough has been said about his game-breaking passing ability.

Needs to develop his shot and explosiveness in the off-season to be on track for top superstar status.

one play that pissed me off is there was one play when him and embiid went up for a rebound together and the ball sailed out of bounds. Barnes couldve hustled and grabbed the ball to avoid any decision from the refs (the play was called a jump ball even though Embiid touched it last).

I mean its the elimination game bro, grab the damn ball and dont let the refs make the decision for you.

These mental lapses hopefully is something he can learn from, but i didnt like that at all, reminded me when he just gave up guarding Luka.

Yeah that annoyed me as well because it looked like he could've easily grabbed it.

Either way, incredible rookie campaign for Scottie. I think there is potential for him to develop into potential #1 scorer if everything goes right. He's got all the tools. However, perhaps the most likely scenario is a 2nd/3rd option on a championship caliber team who can play at a high level on both ends of the floor. True difference maker and a top 25 player in the league.

Easy to annoy you when you are not playing. The kid was limping all game. He missed a few rebounds because he could not move.

Plus you don't read these complaints about anyone else, it's pretty weird. If you want to point out something you didn't like it's fine but we consistent with every player.

I'm talking about the play where he let the ball go out of bounds. If you can grab the ball, you grab the ball. Don't leave it to the refs.

Please point me to specific in game effort questions for every player on the roster.

I'm listening.

I'm not talking about his effort. I'm talking about the decision to leave it to the refs. If you can grab the ball, you grab it. It's an insignificant play in the game and is something that I wasn't even thinking about until someone mentioned it. There were a lot of other plays that annoyed me that didn't involve Scottie last night.

Now that I've seen it, I can't unsee it.

Scottie's playstyle reminds me a lot of Oscar Robertson.

It’s coming. I’m always really surprised how many people harp on his handle. Not saying it can’t be improved, but pretty decent for a big 20 year old who may have just stopped growing. For me, I think he also needs to master some footwork like demar did over time.

Great catch. Real similar when you consider that their sizes are probably similar with dudes being bigger now than in Oscar's day.

Hopefully our man can also defeat the liberals like Chris Paul and get something done like the pension plan Oscar led to victory.
