best defender in the world but he’s in Miami so he’s 4th for DPOY and somehow 2nd team behind a guy who can’t get consistent minutes because he fouls too much

I am concerned that he seemed to have a serious injury in game 1, only to continue playing, then got hurt in game 2, only to now be ok for game 3. Injuries are cumulative. I get you go all-in for the playoffs, but sometimes it’s best to sit out rather than (then?) play injured and worsen the injury (i.e. what just happened to Lowry).

Antagonising 3ammy aside, JJJ making 1st team over Bam is a f*cking joke. If they can have Bam & Williams in the 2nd team (both Cs), then why couldn’t they have Bam with Gobert?

The issue is not position, JJJ received more total points (1) than Bam on the ballot, thats why he made first team.

Doing the rounds w/ the media, which don't usually do but I'm sick & have nothing else to do. The amount of criticism Bam is receiving from Heat fanbase/reporters is immense. Even more so the amount of disrespect he's copping from Celtics fans & Boston bakers. Wether he plays really well or sh*ts the bed I'm excited to see how he responds. Cos if he responds very poorly it will hopefully drastically change the way he approaches the game moving forward & help our organisation determine changes needed in his development, esp mentally.

Not that we need a 30-10 gm out of him but more an impactful gm to winning. Knowing that he's left it all out there on the floor. Considering also how dude was injure during the bubble NBA Finals, was out for some games & the frustrations that go w/ that. He's fully healthy now & taking this situation for granted by not giving all that he's capable of.

Very excited to see how Herro responds also. I'm not too worried about him as I know he's only going to get better as a result of these PO's. He doesn't lack confidence the way Bam does.

Back to this postseason though, I hope Oladipo has an impact in this game. He’s not there to be just another guy. We need him to be a difference maker. He can be that guy on offense if he stops being so passive
