He did this in the ECF against the Celtics in 2020 when he was the best player in the series among the 2 teams. So, not surprising in the least.

Defense first players always get underrated. He’s basically a mini KG. Best defensive player in the league (or close to it), with an extremely versatile and impactful offensive game, even if he’s not a big time scorer. That’s MVP-level impact, and makes him just as good as a lot of offense first players, whether people want to admit it or not.

For example, it’s not even a question to me: I’d take Bam Adebayo over Devin Booker every day of the week. But that’s not the popular narrative.

Yeah I mean it's pretty obviously he's literally been walking around in a fugue state for several months wondering "who am I? Can I play basketball? What is basketball? What does it all mean?" completely adrft from reality. I'm glad he remembered who he was and what he can do on the basketball court.

All star level big, would love to have him on my team. Hes not a superstar, but he doesnt have to be to be valuable.

He's an opportunistic scorer. You can't force him to score big in every game, it has to go his way for that to happen.

I think he is a superstar actually. Much like Boston KG and prime Draymond Green were superstars.

Oh yes, he totally is. The Celtics have a ridiculous combination in Robert Williams and Horford, they are playing very well, there are spurts when the Heat cant freaking score the ball. But Miami has been better and Bam doesnt have this kind of help. Our team is a great defensive unit, but we aint surviving without Bam
