Ya'll are CRAZY for saying he should have drove. Al was sagging off him and would have met him at the rim. You don't drive on bigs that are giving you 5ft room.

Down 2 with game running out
with all the momentum
on a fast break
Not a natural 3 point shooter
With tired legs (so even LESS chance of a jump shot going in)
And at home

YES THE HELL YOU DO.

At worse you drive it and get a kick out to your specialist. At worst.

The issue tonight was sadly Tucker, the guy who Riley could have gotten a good back up for at the trade deadline.

Luckily Vincent was only a -16 tonight... thank god they didn't sign Dragic for the minimum because of him. This FO made some really ()_#$)( decisions this year.

Eh. People can defend Butler with this "He's our best guy" stuff... but your best player needs to understand the moment. He's not a good 3 point shooter. He takes it to the rack there and ties it, and all the pressure is on Boston. Inexcusable shot in that moment for Butler. If that's a good 3 point shooter... sure.

lmao

No one would dare to blame the midget lover Spo and his player’s abused of midget ball. I mean we had bodies and the moron decided they didn’t exist.

If I am deciphering this thread correctly, Spo is a cuck and his wife has a midget-lover, which caused Spo to develop an infatuation with small things and, in particular, small ball. Meanwhile, Tatum is running a one-man train on Adebollo and Lowry in the locker room and will finish in Spo's wife after her midget lover is done with her.

This is some twisted Aristocrats chit.

He sucks and wouldn’t have made a difference.

Problem was that Tucker sucked tonight. If he plays decent, we’re less reliant on a few others and probably do better on the boards.

Tucker barely played in the second half

Likely hurt

He's a good 3pt shooter in those moments.

Yep, low percentage shot from a low percentage 3 point shooter, it was a bad decision but he was not the reason we lost this series

Hindsight is 20/20.

We lost this game because we shot6-30 as a team from deep, not because Jimmy took an open shot.

I'm going to take a while to process this one. Butler's choice at the end was pretty terrible, but who am I to judge after a performance like this in the postseason?

No one came to Jimmy’s assistance, not a single fking one.

Nah man you got to look at Lowry and his 30 million dollar contract. At least Bam was great at defense. Herro is young and was hurt. WE paid 30 mil to Lowry for this type of playoff performance?

Herro's not going to be back. He's one of the better assets Miami has to not waste another year of Butler. Really wish Riley would have gotten another PF at the trade deadline instead of holding pat, maybe another decision that possibly held this team back.

It all depends. Im not moving Herro for a role player thats just dumb. You try to move Herro + picks for a star. If not then just keep him and kick the can down the next offseason. He will be restricted so no matter you have control. But we can't just trade him for the sake of trading him. He has to bring a real difference maker back

While Herro should be traded, we will have to figure out filling the void he will leave offensively. We definitely don’t get to first place in the east without his regular season output

If we were the same as Celtics 19-24 FTs we would be 1 up with butler with that ball

Butler made it last game . Also he didn’t want to go OT. It was literally a kill shot and he missed

Dipo also factored into the decision to pass on Dragic Im guessing.

Dipo was 4-12 and 1-7 from 3 tonight

Mia desperately needs a guard who can get buckets.

And with Herro having the post season that he had, a decision will have to be made about him.

Completely agree. People need to be arguing that we should not have been in that position to begin with if we actually had a decent second option. But pretending that was actually a good shot is insane.

I actually would not even be saying anything if Jimmy took a pull up “low percentage” mid range shot there, if the thought is that because Al Horford was sagging off he shouldn’t have went to the rim. It’s technically a low percentage shot, but not for Jimmy. That’s his bread and butter.

But a three? And off-balance three from one of the worst three point shooters on the team? No sir. Jimmy was our best player and our hero this entire playoffs, but a bad shot is a bad shot and we should be OK to call it out while still being quite adamant in saying he was far from the reason we lost this game
