A player stays in the team/decade he achieved his peak win shares. The decade selections could be restricted to maybe one MVP in each decade you select? Maybe four rounds?
You should run this one. I really want to do it.
Screw the MVP restrictions, I think FGA is a restriction enough.
8-12 teams max
I think the decades that posters will want are
90s Bulls
10s Warriors
80s Lakers
80s Celtics
00s lakers
10s heat
00s Spurs
90s Phoenix Suns
90s Rockets
90s Jazz
90s Sonics
90s Trailblazers
00s Pistons
70s Knicks
80s philly
Lots of teams/eras
I say though, to make it more interesting,
you can pick a player from any era/team in their career. so you can pick 90s suns but chose a Philly season for Barkley
Randomize 1 round and everyone drafts their team/decade
Then re-randomize the draft order for round 2. Round 2 is when you chose your players.
****, I will run it if people want to play it (and if someone makes the nice Google spreadsheet that always gets linked)
