I love OG, probably more than most, but I don't where Lillard thinks a Lillard/OG core is going.

At the end of the day, if OG sees himself as anything more than a clear ancillary piece instead of an on ball option, there's gonna be problems. Raps have Siakam, Barnes is gonna be getting more and more usage and then they're gonna have guards, whether thats FVV/GTJ or others who will have ball handling duties and, as such, more on ball responsibilities/opportunities than OG.

Trade GTJ for a really low usage 3/D player like O'Neale+ and give more touches to OG. Problem solved

such an odd thing to do to appease someone who hasnt shown theyre worthy of more touches.

It will also increase touches for Barnes so why not

Cause GTJ is one of our only shooters and is a better on ball creator than OG? Our offense is rough at is is. I have no problem upgrading the guard spots, i have an issue of trading a guard for a 3+D guy so that we can increase OG's on ball responsibility. He's never shown he's got it in him

Like I said before...if it isn't OG thinking...it could be Rich Paul whispering in OG's ear that he needs to be up in the pecking order and deserves to be featured. Either way...I think you need to consider moving OG and or Trent to allow those guys to get the bigger role they think they deserve and also to allow for the increased role that our rookie of the year rightfully deserves.
It is like a relationship in which staying together keeps both parties from realizing their full potentials. After a while...it will become toxic.

OG has never seemed like a guy who’s fine with a 3+D role and he spends his summer working on his shot creating skills. He had some good games early in the season only to watch the team heavily feature pascal/Scottie.

For sure but just like when siakam was out he was putting up 23 a game on higher usage to my point
I agree, but with much less efficiency.
Outside of those 2 brutal shooting games to start the season, OG was pretty damn good as the #1/#2 option though. He put up 21/5/3 on 57 TS% with a 23 USG% from the 3rd game of the season until his first injury in mid-November. Obviously those 13 games aren't a huge sample size, but he also had a ~20-game stretch where he put up 18/6/3 on 56 TS% with a 20 USG% around the turn of the calendar. That shows me that OG is more than capable of taking on a bit more usage in the future.
OG's numbers for this season were largely skewed by a terrible start and a handful of games recovering from injury and/or playing through injury. When you only play in 48 games, a 7/34 shooting start coupled with a 14/45 shooting stretch pre-ASB and a few mediocre games coming back from a lengthy layoff (3/8 vs GSW, 4/11 vs CLE, 3/9 vs NYK) really muck things up. On the flipside, OG put up 20/6/3 on 57 TS% with a 21 USG% throughout the rest of the year – meaning he was really good whenever he was healthy and not pressing to start the year.
Again, the biggest thing with OG next season and beyond is hoping he can play ~90% of games (210 of 236 in his first 3 seasons) rather than ~60% of games (91 of 154 games in his last 2 seasons). If OG can play 70 or more games next season, he'll likely be getting serious consideration for an All-Defence team – and potentially even All-Star consideration too.

one article from fisher doesnt start all these rumors. if that were the case there would be rumours glore for everyone.
i am inclined to think there is something legitimacy here. raptors might be ready to move OG and have him on the auction block.

If I’m being honest with the emergence of precious I was kind of wondering if OG might be traded soon. I think the team is REALLY high on precious and thinking of ways to incorporate him more. If OG is gone, I’m all for a bidding war.

I haven't seen a single rumour outside of Fischer's own Damien Lillard wants to play with OG. There's been enough time for one other credible source to weigh in on what they've heard, and these vultures are desperate for clicks. Random execs playing with the trade machine isn't a rumour.

Yes it does when so many teams fanbases/media start ranting " I want me one of those on my team. What can we offer?"
Everybody is losing their freaking minds. Nutbars and wingnuts have infested this forum. We've become a public lavatory without cleaning staff.

You laugh but I think we would turn Kuminga into a MONSTER if we got a chance to develop him with Scottie. Other posters can flame all they want but I'd do it (well if that pick is our 2nd lol).

I’d consider it but OG is a known commodity and takes GS to even another level. Kuminga is a project who looks lost on the court way too often. And Wiseman is…well…wiseman. I might be open to it but no way would I include any picks, even 2nd rounders

With Kuminga, it's all between the ears. His jumper/form is better than i thought it would and he's as explosive as it gets at 6'8. Im sure the FO interviewed him during the pre-draft process, so they know if they can turn him into a monster or not
