Wow, me likely this kid. The one legged leaner on the baseline looked Middleton-esq

Happy to see someone else pro Procida. I posted about him in here not that long ago, he's a first round talent and in my top 3 as far as who I realistically want the Bucks to take at 24. Jalen Williams is #1 although that might be very wishful thinking at this point. Procida and Ryan Rollins are next.

Having never seen this kid before I'd be really comfortable with his skills translating and he's a good size with potential to thicken up.

Sam Christie or Patrick Baldwin whichever is there. Look no further.

Can be defend? Can he keep up to quickness on the perimeter?

I know there is always misdirection, but so many mocks have Baldwin in the 2nd round. I would love him in the 1st, but if we can get someone else and buy a pick to land Baldwin even better.

He reminds me of Michael Porter Jr.

Has video of him toggling between a zone, 1v1 , and help defense. Seems fairly advanced for a 19 year old playing ~18mpg

Procida looks like what we wished Allen could do in the second round. Except a bit taller and longer.

I don’t think he shoots or moves well enough to interest me as anything more than a potential camp invite personally.

Having seen very little of Procida, he reminds me more of Klay than of anyone else. Size and build almost eerily similar. Clean looking shot. Looks good running around screens looking for space to get his shot off.

On top of my list:

1. Christian Braun (Huerter on steroids, Klay potential)
2. Gabriele Procida (Bogdanovic "Hawks , potential)

Huerter is a great comparison for Braun! I also see a lot of Connaughton in his game as well. A best case scenario of Klay Thompson is a heck of a player picking in the mid 20’s! His wingspan is on the shorter side, but you can’t have every player have 7’+ wingspans.

Braun definitely isn’t as good handling the ball/creating for himself as Klay was coming out of college. And obviously comparing someone to one of the greatest shooters of all time is very lofty, especially considering Braun appears to merely be a good shooter rather than a great one.

I like him though. Pretty easy to envision him as sort of a SG/SF version of Donte. Hopefully his shot translates better than Donte’s ultimately did.

Let's just trade the pick for Huerter instead of drafting a fugazi Huerter. I know it's that easy.

I know i see people posting that we dont need a project, but Max Christie would be a guy Id love at 24. He seems like a shot at redemption after that Rashad Vaughn pick years back. He probably should have done a bit more at Michigan State but did have quite a few great flashes.

Draft Procida to redeem Joe Alexander's haircut.

New Ringer mock. You'll be shocked that they have Walker Kessler to Milwaukee.

2022 NBA Draft

Post#620 » by German Athens » Mon Jun 13, 2022 3:44 pm

I can’t stand KOC and I think I’m likely being pretty dang unfair with him.

I just think he has an incredibly outsized platform for the mediocre analyst/talent that he is, and I think it’s started to go to his head.

With that said, they’ve got some dang nice graphics over there at the ringer, and I’m starved for draft content.

I’d be very disappointed with Kessler, especially if Terry, beauchamp, and moore are on the board.
