In sport where you get assist despite player making 5 dribbles after reciving pass and making jumper, Mo Bamba had 0 assists in 16 out of 30 college games.
And you compare them because steals and blocks?
Anthony Davis had 1,4 steals, 4,7 blocks, Walker Kessler has 1,1 steals, 4,6 blocks so i guess Walker is new Davis right?
My God, i'm out, my brain can just take so much
To be fair, Rob can be just as right saying that as you saying Jabari won't be a star and will just be a good role player. In the end, we don't know. Not necessarily saying that Chet will be Bamba is a good take, just that saying he could be more ineffective than people think while Jabari is the right pick could be right. It's possible. So is Chet being way better because of all the advanced metrics in college and Jabari being mediocre because of his inside game and dribble.
Personally, I think you both write a lot with some hyperbole and assumptions. It's part of your charm but also annoying to argue with

I never said Jabari can't be star. I said he can't be best offensive player on elite team. That's pretty evident and not hard to "predict" because when you look skillset of best players and compare it to Jabari's skillset, they are different. Ballhandling, passing and ability to attack rim are not complimentary basketball skills, they are pivotal for best nba players.
Chet's comparison to Bamba is just laughable. Chet has floor vision. Bamba is blind.
Chet has BBIQ that allows him to play at elite level despite being toothpick. Bamba is dummy.
Chet understands basketball positioning. Bamba is out of position most of the time.
Chet can actually create space around rim. Bamba can't post up 6'2 guards in nba.
Chet can run transition and deliver ball in right spot. Bamba has zero desire to run in general.
Chet is contender to go first overall because of it. Bamba was drafted 6th ( and overdrafted based on nothing but measurments ).
I don't mind different opinions as long as they follow any logic, even if that logic is illogical.
But slapping BPG & SPG to figure Chet is Bamba vol 2 is as apsurd as that Kesller- Anthony Davis comparison ( and it's hilarious how similar their BPG & SPGs are). For sake of similar opinion, Doug Mcdermott 3rd college year was probably more impressive in terms of PPG, RPG than M.Jordan's

As for Jabari Smith, and i repeated this multiple times, imo he is good prospect but guy i would prefer to pair with post dominant center.
