Re: 2022 NBA Finals - Game 6 | Golden State Warriors vs. Boston Celtics (GSW 3-2)
The syndrome that created alternating blowouts earlier in the playoffs has not been repealed. Warriors don’t need game 6 but the Celtics do. Both teams are a little tired but the Celtics have desperation to offset their fatigue.
Game 6 should be Celtics winning by 20. But Warriors win game 7.
At this point in the poll I am the only person voting Warriors in 7
4 votes Celtics in 7 and 4 votes Warriors in 6

Big game for the Dubs. Celtics are resilient and all bets are off if this gets to a game 7.
Our 3 point shooting has to come around or this will get ugly quick IMO.

After giving away game 4 and the comeback falling short in game 5, very difficult to be confident in the Celtics.

Re: 2022 NBA Finals - Game 6 | Golden State Warriors vs. Boston Celtics (GSW 3-2)
This Warriors core has won 3 straight when down 1-2 against good teams (Grizzlies and Cavs in 2015), and also came back from down 1-3 and 2-3 against OKC and Rockets. They have also lost 3 straight against the Cavs up 3-1 in 2016.
They have made some opponents run out of gas and basically collapse after taking control of the series.
I don't think these Celtics will collapse. These Celtics are resilient and we will see if they are more resilient than those other good teams. At the same time, these Warriors know and have seen resilient teams and teams that collapsed, and will keep punching for 48 min.

I can't really disagree with your take but I'm holding onto some confidence just because the Celts have looked shaky and on their last leg a few times earlier in the playoffs and responded really well. Down 2-3 to the Bucks, had to win a Game 7 in Miami. Hoping for more of that resiliency and another great surprise from them.

I'm pushing for a game 7, if Celtics take care of the ball tomorrow, they have a good chance. These 16+ turnover games are back breakers.bisme37 wrote:JujitsuFlip wrote:After giving away game 4 and the comeback falling short in game 5, very difficult to be confident in the Celtics.

I'm saying Celtics in 7 because I'm a Celtics fan. I have to be honest, if I was a neutral fan, I'd probably say Warriors in 7. That seems like the most likely outcome imo

I say Boston in 7 but if Warriors win tomorrow or game 7 then Warriors will have more championships than the Bulls

Cant believe the NBA season may be over as soon as tomorrow. I get depressed just thinking about it.

Taking the Celtics in game 6 for historical reasons. Only one team in the league's history has won the title on the road in Boston in 75 years. Also the list of players/teams in general who've been able to eliminate the Celtics on their home floor is slim too.

All I can say is, we deserve a game 7. There is nothing better than game 7 in the NBA finals.

No way Warriors win game 6. Boston is so much tougher and gritty compared to the fancy pants bay area California team. If Boston doesn't win tomorrow it's a major choke.

My predictions: celtics win.
probability: 60%
celtics will come out firing, warriors will keep it close. but the home crowd and celtics bench play well enough to win. Curry/Klay will get his. Wiggins will chime but no one else will provide double digit scoring.

LOL not a fan of either team but this is false. The Celtics and their fanbase have been bitching relentlessly about the officiating this series despite shooting more FTs. The Warriors have proven they are plenty tough.
