I’m getting to the point that I’d be disappointed if it wasn’t Jabari. You have to read past what the numbers say here, because if Jabari’s unguardable 3 carries over even somewhat, well, I already know he’s going to improve everything else too.

Locking in, what is it, 54 mil a year on Chet Holmgren someday and he doesn’t become the top scorer and ball handler is not my cup of tea. I trust the tag team of WCJ and Mo. And if JI’s career was filled with injuries early like Steph Curry and then not so much afterwards, then we got a Gobert, Chet of our own defensively (and even better offensively).

Chet and Ivey are the two who really stick out to me. I think Ivey is going to be awesome. Especially when you look at that FTR. I see his game translating pretty effortlessly. The shooting may take a year or two.

Ivey and Banchero are awesome offensive weapons, surefire to translate 3 level scorers. Chet is not the same stat stuffer offensively but he'll be a longer version of Franz playing off the ball. Chet impacts the game by his on court smarts and defensive IQ and reads. These 3 guys Banchero, Ivey and Chet are the can't miss prospects.

Chet may never be able to add weight without losing his mobility and is more likely to suffer injuries.

Banchero is a below average outside shooter and defender, and Ivey has questionable decision making and outside shot, each of them could become one of the the worst #1 in history.

There’s nothing to suggest he’s more injury prone. Anyone can get injured.

Situational, maybe to close out games, sure. But honestly, in today's NBA? Sure, except against Embiid, Jokic and maybe 1 or 2 other physical post players.

define C. does anyone see Draymond as a C? No. I used to HATE when people brought up JI as a C, but honestly, look at the game; it's evolving. Sure, you need a traditional C for MVPs, but i can totally get behind a front court of Franz/Jabari/JI to close a game; in the playoffs. Teams go small, because their best players are small. For us, that's 6'11/6'10/6'13 as your front line.

He said that some in Orlando's front office like Chet but I guess just not the majority. That's the first I've heard of anyone reporting what our front office is thinking.

Comparing Bol Bol to Chet is hilarious. Hilariously bad. Bol Bol has absolutely no clue on the defensive end.. like none at all. He gets completely lost on that side of the ball whereas Chet is a savant.

Let's see how Chet plays against guys as big as him.

I feel like the (obvious) pick will be Jabari but I would take Paolo. I see much more in his game than what Jabari brings, but still, happy with whatever team decides. Also, looking forward to see JI back and I think Fultz is going to have a great season. Also, if we could find a way to use Ross and 2nd round pics to get to a position to take Jovic at around 20th pick, that would make me very happy!
