Agreed with this, though I gotta admit Givony constantly comparing Jovic to Bjelica is not at all exciting to me considering the Warriors were scared to play him until very recently.

Usually agree with Givony's assessments but this is a really weird "white Euro" comparison that seems pretty lazy. Bjelica's a better pure shooter, while Jovic is a clearly superior athlete and ball-handler. Outside of their height and nationality, I'm not seeing too many similarities. A better comparison for me would be Nic Batum.

Yeah, I can’t say the Adam Spinella or Hoop Intellect or whatever scouting report video I watched for Jovic screamed Bjelica but every time I read it, I get a little worried lol.

Yep, I like him, one of the guys on my list if we get a late 2nd. Good foundational abilities and could round out into a rotation player in time.

Wasn’t/ isn’t bjelica’s game much more dribble drive with good playmaking over in Europe? He’s just been relegated to a spot up guy in the nba.

It seems like Jovic has more potential for off the dribble shooting, which gives him considerable upside, but watching highlights of bjelica in Europe I can kind of see it.

A late 2nd would be nice but there's always the UDFA route. Looks like some fairly decent talent is going to slip through the draft.

The way Jovic develops physically is going to be a huge determining factor in how his game goes. Bjelica and Gallo are kind of skinny fat. If Jovic commits himself to making the most of what he has he'll be a totally different kind of player.

Yeah, after flipping back and forth through their vids, I’m relegating myself to the bench here. Jovic has some real off the dribble creation chops that I just don’t see in bjelica.

You can definitely see jovic potentially becoming a three level scorer off the dribble, who could create in the pick n roll.

The passing is pretty nice as well, but I really like the help rim protection for a wing.

Secretly want Jovic to succeed so that the next Serb named Nikola Jogic gets drafted 1st overall just on name alone.

Crazy that the season ends this week and the draft is next week. The bizarro NFL.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

And SL is like 2 weeks after the draft. Good stuff.

After my annual half assed attempt at some YouTube research, I’d be taking Paolo if I’m the Magic.

I’d be horrified to take Chet. Just don’t see it with him but I thought Lamelo would suck too so wtf do I know?

I was hoping the Bucks might get a chance to either get a steal or trade up slightly to throw the Aussies a bone by drafting Dyson Daniels, but that is looking rather unlikely (I appreciate it was to begin with).

He has some functional strength, which is good to see, but he does need to add some weight. I do think his perimeter skills and the spacing in the NBA will help his game a lot more.

If we can team Bo Cruz up with Giannis we'd be unstoppable.

I'd be perfectly fine with Beauchamp, if for no other reason than his really cool Afro. He would look good in the Bucks city uni playing next to the Big Three.
