I think they are doing Jabari's scheduled NBA virtual meeting now.

Interesting that he doesn’t want to workout for Houston. I respect the mindset, however I do wonder how he’d feel if we threw a spanner in the works and drafted Paolo instead. I wonder if OKC love Chet more than Jabari?

Houston would probably draft him in this scenario, even without the workout. Kinda like Suggs last year, he fell one spot lower than expected, but we took him without a workout.

This is common. It's not a sleight to Houston. He knows his draft range. The goal for him is to land at the top. He isn't worried about falling. We have seen in the recent past where some prospects would work out for organizations that were a bit further down than their range, but I suspect that such cases are very specific and involve potential trades.

Very true, I do wonder if we will trade our pick for an additional pick? I know the noise is that we aren’t considering trading it, but that can easily be a smokescreen for another team to make an enticing offer to us and possibly 'overpay' slightly?

Betting for the NBA first pick has surpassed the NFL. That has to be a first.

Listening to Brandon Kravitz he seems to think he knows what the Magic are going to do and he thinks they'll pick Chet. His show is employed by the Magic.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us pick Chet at #1.
And on the flip side, I wouldn't be surprised to see Chet fall all the way to #5 or so.

Me when we pick Jabari: "woo hoo, this is going to be awesome"

Me when we pick Chet: "woo hoo, this is going to be awesome (worries about his health for the next 12 years)"
