The thread became about LeBron because reporters are limited in asking actual basketball questions that would leak to the other team.

So we have to get gossip level questions for them to get paid for being in the room with the players.
The Greatest of All Time debate in basketball is essentially who has the greatest basketball resume of the player who has the best highlights instead of who is the best player

When he came back I remember I was told he was 100 when clearly he wasn't.

I guess we're speculating that the Celtics are letting Rob play through an injury and it's going to make it worse and screw him in the long run? If you think the C's are cold and calculating enough to do that, keep in mind it actually makes no sense in cold and calculating terms. The kid is at worst our 3rd most important player moving forward and is in the 1st year of a $48M extension. Would be really bad business to ruin his career, so they must feel good and confident about him playing right now.

Are they really saving Foster for game 7? Man, it would be hilarious to watch the Warriors collapse again assuming they can get past the uneven officiating of Zarba tonight (1-5 record).

I think the meniscus is a tricky injury to deal with and you can go the JJJ/Wiseman route or the way that the Celtics/Robert Williams did. I know not all meniscus tears are the same and that's why there are different remedies and I hope/believe that Williams is not doing further damage.

When Rob came back from the meniscus surgery they were confident he was fine and ready to play. He said he felt instant relief after getting out of surgery and he was at practice bouncing around the very next day. It was not a long recovery but he actually could have come back sooner than he did.

The problem now was he banged knees and suffered a bone bruise a few games after he came back. Unless they are being hella shady the thing that's bothering him now is the bone bruise, not the meniscus.

And I know people will think what they want but imo it just makes no business sense to lie about it or ruin his career. So I'm confident that they are confident about it.

everything has to be about lebron, havent you heard? he owns the nba, atleast he thinks he does... considering kawhi, durant, curry, dirk, duncan, giannis, all have won titles during his era in the nba..... everyone got to eat, because this guy isnt as good as he thinks he is... hes failed so many times he has more Finals losses on his record than wins. Try winning a title on Jordans watch, oh wait, he went 6 for 6, and didnt allow anyone to win in his era. "that made me the GOAT right thur" lmao.... this quote will go down in history as the biggest joke ever.

Jordan never lost and never allowed anyone else to win in his era, except of course for all the years he lost before making the finals

your grasping at straws.... jordans legacy is untouchable... not only in accolades, but his peak >> much higher than any peak lebron. Much better jump shooter, better defender, better dribbler, faster , better FT shooter, better dunker, Clutch.. There is nothing anyone can say that lebron is better than jordan at. Its a fantasy.

At this point, as a Celtic's fan, I can only pray for a "Anything can happen" game 7.

This series became exactly what I feared, being a repeat of the 2012 Thunder v Heat finals where the media completely over rated the youth and athleticism of a younger team vs the skill and cohesiveness of battle tested legends.

Celtics can still take this, but they really need to go for the throat tonight at home.

Fans have a lot of bs theories. And 99% make no sense.

On a related note, it sucks that R.Will isn't 100. He has been outstanding this season and against GS. I'm glad GS got GP2 and OPJ back in time because they are so needed. R.Will is needed too.

I don't think it really matters, but the Celtics are 1-4 these playoffs with Zarba reffing.

Also, so much for the dozens of posts here since Game 5 saying that Foster would be reffing and he would extend the series.

Let's all hope for a fair and consistent officials day, though I am skeptical.

Turnovers. If Celtics continue to be sloppy they will lose. They play tight? They are better team. They will force game 7.
