Eric Gordon looks fat, but is not a fat person. Is there a name for this? Seriously, he is a NBA athlete, can dunk, can sink threes, and if you squint looks 85% like Carl Winslow.

I know Eric Gordon is a good shooter. Is he good enough on defense to play in the playoffs? Anyone we use assets on needs to be good enough defensively to not get played off the floor

It was sarcasm by Supreme because Houston said they were looking for a first round pick for Gordon, and he is cooked and its a laughable suggestion. Its not a real thing. He is a 3 and D guard without the D.

Going with Josh Hart for Grayson/Hill/#24

He’d be the missing backcourt Swiss Army knife piece for us. The downside is the guy is injury prone. And while the stats this past year are good, they reflect a green light on a losing Blazers team. But the guy appears to be able to do a little bit of everything. Our version of acquiring Derrick White.

This would make me inexplicably happy, as a big Josh Hart fan, but I think Blazers are neither tearing it down, nor trading Hart as-is.

So picture 34 year old Grayson, defensively.

It’s tough to make a Gordon scenario work assuming we are not sending out Lopez.

Allen, Hill, Tucker and Vildoza would work (+ #24 for incentive) if we want to do a 4 for 1 deal.

Not sure if Gordon is good enough to justify dropping the pick though. Ownership would have to clear the extra spending too.

I’d rather have each of those players and the pick individually than Gordon.

When people are saying we’re trading the pick, is that just coming from the Horst statement that we want to maximize the asset? Or was there something else where it was explicit?

Orlando gets: Allen, Hill, #24
Portland gets: Jonathon Isaac
Bucks get: Hart

I assume Hart is a great switchable defender (I don't know), because he can't shoot (under 35% three point shooter).

Horst's off-season interview they mentioned they were exploring moving the pick.

He is the defender we need, , he rebounds really well, and he adds playmaking ability offensively. As for the 3 point shooting, I think most players shoot the 3 better from age 27-31 than they do from age 22-26.

If only he had made 5 more threes over his five year career he’d have that magical 35%.

And if he was a 40%+ three point shooter, we'd never be even dreaming up TI's involving Grayson and #24. We'd be talking about a Middleton type, well out of our reach.

He's just a really good all around player. Again the only issue I see are the injuries.
