Unless Banchero and his agent requested to not let it out, I can't think of a reason why they want to be so secretive.

It may also basically be gamesmanship by the Magic to allow a full media access to one guy they work out, less media access to another and be totally secretive about another guy just to appear to be as confusing as possible to other teams.

Another thing I noticed from the Chet photo in the Magic shorts, it looked like he was at RDV. Smith might have been the only player we took to our main practice court at the Amway.

Today the Magic's Jake Chapman did a 45 minute podcast about Jabari and called it the JabariCast.

There are reports that Houston has Paolo number 1 on their board so it leaves OKC to trade. I see no reason for them to trade up. If they want Banchero we wont trade with them if they want Holmgren/Smith they will just wait who we pick.

i dont buy Houston wanting Banchero. they just drafted Sengun last year. they need a defensive presence or shooter more than Banchero. they have Kevin Porter and Jalen Green handling the ball.

Doesn't matter if they drafted Sengun...u pick BPA with #3, not fit wise. I seriously think we don't know what Orlando, OKC or Houston want. Orlando probably between Chet and Jabari and I would bet OKC wants Chet or Ivey but that's pure speculation.

And as much as I'm all about Chet.... if we choose someone else... that means that they think he is better than what for me... is a "Magic Type of Player"... and if that's the case... his expectations are greater than we think.

We should just pick Paolo number 1. Screw the games. We were blessed with the number 1 pick. If he's your guy just get him. A trade with Houston takes the control out of your hands cause you have no idea what OKC does. Those extra assets probably aren't even worth it. If OKC wants to trade some assets to move to 1 then sure. Otherwise screw it. Just get your guy. Im hoping Paolo is the name called but I just don't think they taking him.

I'll be shocked if the Magic don't take Jabari. He's the only player we rolled out the red carpet for and we've used every opportunity to build his brand. We haven't ever acknowledged working out any other player. We posted Jabari's pics all over the Magic's social media and just today did a 45-minute podcast dedicated to Jabari. They've did everything but come and say, with the first pick the Orlando Magic select Jabari Smith Jr.

2.) There is no clear top talent in the draft.
3.) All projected top picks have different skillset that they bring to the table.
