I’d take Tari top 10. So yeah, if he’s available and the Bulls don’t take him…I will be sad.

Out of the players that are realistically going to be available, my preference would be Eason or Jalen Williams or EJ Liddell. Of course if anyone like Duren, Mark Williams, Branham or Ogbaji fall, I'd take them as well.

Next down the list would be Kessler. I'm not sold on Dieng or Jovic, although of the two I prefer Dieng.

Jalen Williams is an intriguing prospect.I never watched him playing but liked what I knew from scouting reports.Did you ever watch his games?I believe Mark Williams will be available at#18 and if so he´d be my first option ,we need a big defensive oriented center even one somewhat raw like him.But I wouldn´t be mad if AK goes for one of the other players you named .

Tari is another intriguing prospect who could help us a lot.I´d be sad if AK trades for Gobert or another player including #18.

Depends on the deal for me. I can absolutely see why the FO wouldn’t love this draft, especially if Tari is gone.

I don't know, I might just be getting too optimistic about some of these guys, but I like what we'll have to pick from at 18. Getting either Eason, Jalen Williams or Liddell or someone else who falls- I think that will add a really nice piece to the team. I think whoever we take at 18 could end up working out better than some of the guys we've taken in recent years at #7.

No, I never watched any of his games, but he's go so much going for him, starting with that 7'2" wingspan. He's also an excellent 3 point shooter, a good ball handler, is physical and get to the free throw line. Just seems like a great 3 and D prospect who could also become a 15 ppg scorer off the bench. He dominated the scrimmages at the combine. He is a little older, and he's not the greatest athlete, and he didn't play against the best competition- those are the knocks on him. But I like his chances of becoming a really good player, and we definitely need more 3 pt shooting.

Yeah, bottom quartile starter or rotation player is probably a good target for #18.

From Bleacher Nation:

"Happy Draft Day Eve, folks! Based on what we’ve heard about the Chicago Bulls draft night approach, we can confidently say one of the following will happen tomorrow night: The picks will be traded with Coby White for veteran help; the pick will be traded with Coby White to move up; the pick will be traded to move down and aquire more draft capital, or the Bulls will simply pick a player at No. 18 and look toward free agency. In other words, we have absolutely no idea what the heck is going to happen. Somewhere Artūras Karnišovas is letting out an evil laugh."

I sorta feel bad for Coby. From all accounts he's a good guy and hard worker...Not only is he being shopped, but nobody else wants him.

I think it is time to admit that Coby is a "depth chart" guy. Not a guy who should he playing 28 mpg. You bring him in when the offense is struggling and see if he gets hot. If not you sit him back down.

Billy can't lock him in to the rotation as the number 5 guard/wing. I mean, he can, but he shouldn't, because it would be stupid at this point.

As much as I think Billy sucks, I have to cut him slack last season since Lonzo and Caruso missed so many games and Zach had his stints with Covid protocols. (And the Bulls "better than Coby" wings on the bench were playing PF).

White can be a nice piece to have on the bench at under 10 mil. But his minutes should fluctuate wildly based on his shooting.

Way underinformed $.02:
No trade: Mark Williams (then sign a wing) or Liddell/Eason (then sign MRob)
Trade for Gobert: Liddell/Eason

Alternate: trade Coby+18 for 20/25 from SAS. Draft Koloko and a wing.

If we somehow acquire a 2nd round pick David Roddy would be my choice...

Really like his game...he is undersized but is athletic, high motor, strong and can hit from the outside or slash to the rim with power.

I'm not against keeping Coby if Billy can lessen his minutes using him as you said .It goes without saying that AK needs to add more shooters for the bench.

No way I’m taking Ogbaji over Dieng.

Yeah, that would be a bummer. I'd also prefer Dalen Terry to Ogbaji.
Constantly underwhelmed by the Bulls.

Okay BR just dropped their last mock before the draft, and Wasserman also has Branham dropping down to us too. Maybe I was wrong, and he's been slipping DeRozan would definitely help him with his development.

You wouldn't be a happy with a player that is the 6th man on a team that went to the nba finals for the 18th pick? I would bet that is a well above average outcome for an 18th pick.

Not if there are upside players on the board.

We already have a championship quality bench piece in Caruso.

i get where you're coming from but i would note that most championship teams play multiple bench players
