P.S. Not for nothing, but per the article above, I'd actually be comfortable if we were to take Davis at #9. He's already a better defender and finisher at the rim than Lonnie (not that that should be the floor or anything; Davis's is higher). And he wears #1. Just saying

I'm really not sold on anyone for sure at 9 but I'm totally ready to complain about whoever it is

Summing up and fleshing out Brian Wright's pre-draft media session:

Intel around the draft has Sacramento looking to trade down from the No. 4 slot, with the Spurs one of several teams with reported interest in engaging with the Kings.

The Spurs reportedly covet Iowa forward Keegan Murray, who is unlikely to remain on the board at No. 9.

Wright said the Spurs have not ruled out moving up or down, or staying put in the draft order. With draft night looming, Wright said his phone has been ringing with potential trade suitors.

“As you get closer to the draft, your draft picks become gold,” Wright said. “It’s more crystallized as to who could be there and what you could do with it. As teams figure out their board, sometimes they can’t get to their pick (without a trade).”

I'll be on the road for work in Cleveland of all places

Maybe they will trade for Sexton.....

If you have to put a gun to my head at #9 I would lean toward one of the Duke kids. Williams or Griffin.
Tankathon has us taking Sharpe again

Up in the thread I saw someone mention Ivey. All the talk in Detroit is that if Sacramento doesn't pick him the Pistons will for sure.

Today is an office day so I'll likely miss the Spurs pick, but just saw this article on RealGM where we are now shopping D. Murray.

I don't love it, but we'll see. I may have to go straight to whiskey once I get home lol.

Check out our rumours/roster thread below! Has the latest intel on it.

Not sure if we're shopping or doing due diligence, as in if a team calls, this is our asking price, but we'll see!

Interesting to both see Eason on one list that includes bigs, and to see the players on both lists: Murray, Mathurin, Davis.

I didn’t see many projections that had Sochan that high, maybe we couldn’t find a deal but if that’s who we wanted the so be it. I like Branham at 20 a lot more
