I revealed in previous post that "Henson" is Jarret Allen

Lots of good UDFAs this year.
Peter Jok too. Good year to start a D League franchise

Khris for Tobias + Baynes #12
That's not enough. I'd ask for them to take Henson and give Stanley Johnson instead of Baynes and a 2019 top 10 protected 1st.

If Mitchell is a hit we are immediate winners of the trade. Either way Khris has only 2 years left in his contract. Anyway it is the draft board and while Pistons shop #12 I made clear that the only player to have #12 is Khris. The main concern to me is ... Will Mitchell be there ?
Khris back to the Pistons lol

I mean yeah, you usually have the one standout blue-chip guy (Fultz), then through the top 8-10 are the intriguing upside prospects, then it tapers out past the top-12 and once you get into the late lottery. Then we all talk ourselves into trading back because we're convinced that "there's guys in the late-1st and 2nd round that'll be rotation players or even starters", when in reality that rarely ever is the case.
Don't get me wrong, there's a bunch of fringe 1st and early 2nd round guys that I really like (BAM!, Morris, Motley, etc.), but I just can't talk myself into trading back unless it's a perfect situation. I don't really "love" any of those guys and I don't see some hidden Draymond or Gobert upside. Just take the best guy #17. Try and package a future 2nd or Vaughn with #48 to move up into the 31-40 range if there's a guy you really like there. Just don't willingly forfeit draft position just because you think a particular area of the draft is "weak", which as we've seen over the years, is incredibly difficult if not impossible to gauge.

Can we sell the pistons the idea of Baynes+12 for Henson+17?
Pachinko_ wrote:I *suspect* if any other team got Giannis they would sell the farm to try and win right now, whether he's 22 years old or not.
Giannis might look like he's **** around all summer but then in October he will somehow come back looking even better, because that's what Giannis does.
I *suspect* that the time for accumulating and developing talent is long gone and every year going forward is a missed opportunity. If we're not ready to compete then too bad, another year lost.

65% on catch and shoot from the left corner? Has to be intriguing. You wonder where he'll end up if his skill level keeps improving. I think he's going to end up being a pretty good PnR ball handler, but I think it's tough to put him at PG where he'll have to defend the ball. If you think Delly struggles with quickness...

Let the Wolves reset on their future PG search with pick 7 while taking a big man to pair with KAT at 17.
