Unless these sources are players themselves, there is zero value to it. Even if it were the players, they can change their minds.

It's WWW or Leon Rose.
I'm going with the former.

Well, if Riley is going to coach you can't do much better than that, and if you're looking for the best teammate you can't do much better than Wade, and if you're looking for the best weather you can't do much better than Miami...I don't see it happening because of all the egos involved but it is an attractive destination.

He'd recruit the **** out of Tony Allen for the full MLE, though.

Pat Riley is 65 himself.
Being a head coach is far more rigorous a chore than being a GM.
Spoelstra isn't a good coach and Miami is not a sports town.
No state taxes and the weather do make it an ideal place but not for an aspiring billionaire athlete.
He will be #2. What in his ego suggests he'd be ok with that?
Wade has a ring and the love of South Beach. This is BS and I know Screamin' A. regrets "putting his rep on the line" after putting this out there.

Broussard: "New Jersey has a better chance than the Knicks"

re: Prokhorov "He's from Russia, what does he know about building an NBA team?"

Broussard really is (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

Smith has lost his mind if he believes what he's saying. Lost his mind.

And I'm finding it funny that a bunch of you guys who were dismissing SAS last week now find him believable because he dogged D'Antoni this time.

maybe it's just a way to say, hey the free agents know walsh is a good gm, but he is old and will be retiring pretty soon and the next gm that comes in might not be as good a gm as walsh. That kind of stuff does play in to some free agents mind who are at the stage of their career where they don't want an unprovent GM. It may be free agents, talking to their agents and saying I like New York, but there are some things that would make me hesitate. Its's not rocket science to see that D'Antoni does not emphasize as much on defence as he should and it's not rocket science to see that Donnie Walsh is old. I don't think you do it because of a rumor. But I do think Donnie Walsh needs to bring in a GM, he said that himself because he wants to have hip surgery. I don't know what he is waiting for to put out feelers. he has one of the uniquie advantage of having an owner who has deep pockets and he does not want to use it. Sam Presti, Kevin Pritchard and Jeff Bowers (New Orleans) GM are all good candidates. As far defense. Again I ask if the free agents want to come and they say I am not coming without a defensive asst on that bench. What does Donnie do? I honestly think he would say that is undermining the coach and I can't do that.

Stephen A Smith is predicting Miami because none of his colleagues are. He is simply gambling on being the only one who gets it right.

I'm glad I had enough sense and pride not to listen in live on this show. Appears all SAS did was come up with news ideas to sell his angle and of course there were so many anxious to tune in.

I don't think this has anything to do with pride. People tuned in to see what SAS has to say. No big deal.

It's fun chasing this story and that's what the fans here do and enjoy following. So why can't someone just listen and take it for what it's worth?

Pride has nothing to do with it.

Now, when it comes to Donnie groveling to LBJ or demanding his independence and respect for the Knicks, I think you're right. And you know we agree on that. Plus I think it's the right strategy to get LeBron's attention.

But as far as us fans following every tidbit of news and trying to piece it all together, there is no pride involved at all. We're just doing what we do -- taking it all in.

Because the formula was laid out in advance as to what would happen. Bill Simmons and Chad Ford was right they're baiting you into ratings and trumping up their attention to be a story themselves.

I mean why listen to what Broussard has to say if all he is doing is making intentional lies?

Tell that to the people who write these things. There hasn't been on fact/truth statement made since this whole process started. All its been is journalists (And I use that term loosely) throwing out opinions that someone on the street told them, goes on TV or radio, and spews it like it is truth. I have roomates who eat into this stuff and believe it as fact, and its annoying because even the parties involve don't know what's going to happen.

They are hyping heads up, and from what it looks like on here and in the real world it's working. I have my own opinions of what's going to happen, but I don't go around listening to them or spewing mess, and If I do tell people, I give reasons why at least they should look at it from my POV including their own.

These Analyst has a loyal following for people looking for their daily NBA fix, and the analysts are not giving their all when reporting things. So basically they are a leader of a cult and now they can say and do what they want with no repercussions.

Its not about responsible journalism, Its about who can get the most people to talk. But yeah people should believe their own thoughts, not someone who gets paid to give OPINIONS tells you.

All these clowns and so called "insiders" know they only have three days left before free agency officially starts so they're firing their last shots.
Even if they're wrong, they'll claim they were right and Lebron, Bosh and/or Wade had a change of heart at the last minute...These guys have zero accountability so they don't 'lcare at all. Don't understand why you guys care so much about what they say...

Yup. Every one of these guys has said Lebron to every team so that they can come back to that one particular date and say they were right. The whole thing is just comical now. But I do love everyone jumping on the Heat and Bulls bandwagon, it makes me feel better that these douches aren't Knicks fans. None of them have a clue.

I'll happy with JJ and Amare. If that's the case, our championship aspirations depend on whether Gallo can become what we all think he can become.

By not listening to these guys we impart power to not support nonsense. But they know everything and anything they say will work. Heck SAS could have got on radio today and said nothing getting our necks but if he then said tune in tomorrow and he'll have news people still would. I mean for crying out loud some people wonder why SAS still has a job and is on the radio....well this is why

I remember I posted a link to another board(UK) I believe from Cosmic who touched on a lot of "supposed inside info" from an unnamed person. It involved someone who frequents being around famous people for parties or other gatherings, including Lebron. I posted it in one of the Official Lebron Threads. It listed very specific things about Lebron and his free agency. Not sure how much truth there was into the post but it seemed informative.....

Do you know Smoke not one person commented on the link I dropped. But ANYTHING BSPN reports gets discussed here add nauseum, when 90% of whatever they report is thought to be premeditated nonsense and almost no one agrees?

The link did state the individual felt Lebron would choose Cleveland but not with a strong endorsement.

Yeah remember he was definitely more credible than Jalen. Posters are constantly exposing themselves yet always want to jump on a journalist to expose them?

It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
