Nice slew foot by Crosby. Of course Callahan gets called for interference.

Another great win by the Wings but what else is new? Our team just keeps finding ways to win and win big. I heard some expert saying the Wings would get hammered by the Sharks like 7-2 or something like that. Glad to see him put his foot in his mouth, Howard has been a monster this year for us and Pavel Datsyuk is the Russian Wayne Gretzky the things he does with the puck are just amazing his goal where he split the 2 Shark defensemen was dirty and his pass to Zetterberg was classic Pavel.

Also great to finally win on my Proline turned $2 into $86 the other day (Monday) was worried that Edmonton wasn't going to win

It so obvious yet people are still defending Crosby and saying it wasn't a dirty play.

Deals off. Chia says there was never a deal in place.

ummm well chia, you're bs'ing us. Because the trade broke with details on what we would have got at 12:30. If it was not true, you don't wait till 10:00 that night to deny it. Something happened with LA, physical maybe?

Ugh. At least the bruins won 8-1.

Wow yet another huge win for Detroit over a good Anaheim team who looked really bad yesterday. Great to see Zetterberg get his 500th point pretty good for a guy picked 210th overall in 1999. The thing that shocked me was his +/- which is a +131 that is damn good.

I think the Marco Sturm deal will go through sooner then later seems like both parties want to make the deal. I don't know what the hell is wrong with the Islanders man they have been stinking it up as of late I think they have lost 14 of their last 15 games pretty putrid if you ask me.

Toronto seems to be pretty much screwed for the next 2 years at least I mean how are you going to rebuild with Brian Burke's blunders? The guys traded your best 3 picks in the last 2 years for Kessell that is a terrible trade plus his contract of Jeff Finger I mean what was he thinking? I don't understand why he's still a GM or why Ron Wilson is still Toronto's coach. The only good moves he has done was Kris Versteeg and Dion Phaneuf. If you guys want to read his blunders you can here http://fans.mapleleafs.nhl.com/reply/18 ... ctive.html a good in-depth article. One thing I found funny was a Toronto media personality said that if Steven Stamkos hits the open market Toronto is a sure favorite to land him I mean WTF dream on there.

Penguins playing ridiculous hockey with Staal out and Malkin MIA for much of the season. It will be really interesting if they show up in the second half of the season.

The defense has been phenomenal, killing 38 penalties in a row in the last 8 games before giving one up on Thursday. They are dropping Columbus 7-1 right now after 2 and Crosby is gunning for his 3rd hat trick in 4 games.

Ditto Gionta, and it's about time. I love how he was snakebit while playing with Gomez, so they broke up the Cammo/Pleks/AK line to put Gionta in, and AK is snakebit playing with Gomez. Then they move Cammo with Gomez and it's our worst line. Gomez went down with an injury tonight though so maybe that moves Cammo to the Pleks/Gionta line and they move Eller up to AK/Pouliot, because Lars has been getting better and better every game.

113,411 in attendance. Michigan smashed Michigan State 5-0. Amazing atmosphere, fireworks after every Michigan goal.

Sutter steps down in Calgary.

http://www.thehockeynews.com/articles/3 ... lames.html
CALGARY - With his team languishing near the basement of the NHL's Western Conference, Darryl Sutter stepped down as executive vice-president and general manager of the Calgary Flames on Tuesday.

Assistant GM Jay Feaster was named acting general manager and will assume complete responsibility for day-to-day hockey operations.

"Darryl has performed valuable service to the Calgary Flames organization for eight years," president and chief executive officer Ken King said in a statement.“He was the leader that ignited a renaissance of Flames hockey, moving us from a non-playoff team to an organization that was viewed as a respected and popular contender each year.
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'
