At what point did I say they should let him walk? I said you dont pay fringe all stars max money. He is a fringe all star in my book. He is a guy that may or may not make the all star game every year. I wouldnt pay him anywhere close to the max. There are very few players that are worth the max in my book.

Granger is the better player, but frankly he's more replaceable than Hibbert.
You pay market rate for big men, and the market says that a quality center is worth near max or max. That's all there is to it.
