Lillard's play impressive lately. I dunno if it's just me, but it looks like he's attacking the basket more, which is always a good sign.

MKG got knocked. He appears to have suffered a concussion. You hate to see such a freak accident.

Due to the lack of Andre Drummond mix tapes, I decided to throw one together real quick.

Mark Jackson on Harrison Barnes:
“I don’t think enough credit has been given to him. He’s a rookie starting at the small forward position, one of the toughest positions to play in this league, and he’s played a huge role in us being 13 games over .500. I’m very patient with him. He’s defending from day one, competed and he’s a high character guy. He’s only going to get better. ”

The 3 has some of the games most dynamic players and for a rookie to come in an compete the way barnes has deserves praise.

Fair thing to point out but relative to other positions is not that difficult. I agree he deserves praise though, ANY position is difficult for a rookie.

Kobe on Drummond:

Kobe both praised and lambasted Andre Drummond in the same quote in a way only Kobe truly can ...
"I was pretty calm," Bryant said when asked about the Detroit Pistons' sideline out of bounds play with 1.2 seconds left when Kyle Singler tried to find Andre Drummond for an alley-oop. "I was like, 'Man, if he makes that s---, then God bless him.' You know what I mean? It was just like a tough play to make over Pau who is a 7-footer, to make that type of catch in that situation."

When Bryant was asked if Gasol fouled Drummond, that's where he got in his little description of the rookie out of UConn who finished with nine points, 11 rebounds and four blocked shots.

"The kid's really good, I think he has a bright future, but he can't shoot free throws for s---," Bryant said, bluntly. "I wasn't worried about the foul."
