........really!?!?...... I find it hard seeing either as an allstar but you see both?? I liked the little "get you know your...." thread we got going and feel a little more peaceful with someone of you when I see other things we have in common so Im gonna go about this differently then just disagreeing with you....what is it that you see about them that makes you think both are all stars?? IMO neither one of these guys makes you team better there just "guys" and if we werent the worse of the worse they wouldnt even be starting. Although I do think MKG will be a starter in the league, as a glue guy.
When MKG was drafted Mike was quoted as saying that he expected MKG to be an excellent glue guy like Scottie was for the Bulls. The problem is with some of you guys is that you don't know how the nba works as well as you think you do. You are quick to throw around words like role player and glue guy in an almost derogatory sense. Neither word means scrub. Both words can refer to stars. Manu Ginobli is an excellent example of a current role player and glue guy who is a perineal allstar.

And the problem with you is you like to pretend like your word is the gospel whenever someone feels differently. I know what role player and glue guy means and your right their are different types, there are also role player and glue guys that average like 12-14 pts, 6-7rbs and 2-3ast.....a nice little stat line but not allstars and definetly not superstars.....Biz stated he thought both our guys could be all stars, im just wondering what it is he see's in them that makes him say that or is it just hope and love for the Bobcats......

...and I've seen Andre Iguodala make All-Star and Olympic teams with those type of stats. Even though I didn't feel like he deserved it, well he did.

Iggy is the "Some Stats All-Star" because of his incredible defense. The fact that he's only made one All-Defensive team (and second team at that) is disgraceful. That said, he was like a 20/5/5 guy earlier in his career. I think if MKG has an Iggy-type career, we should all be happy.
Humble yourself.

I find it very interesting that I rebutt comments that are very specific and very judgemental yet I am the one who doesn't like for people to disagree with him. That is very amusing. MKG is regularly disparged on this board. Never mind the fact that he hasn't even finished his rookie season, and is consistently one of the highest rated rookies. If anything you nay sayers are the ones who seem to think their word is gospel. You are the ones disagreeing with we supporters, the bobcats, and the nba evaluators.

Btw, everyone who's been ripping me for predicting that Kabongo and Hayward are gonna be stars; four or five years ago, I said that Grevious Vasquez was gonna be a stud and three years ago I said the same thing about Kelly Olynyk and Andrew Nicholson after their freshman and sophomore seasons respectively, and everyone was like "Who they heck are they?' I also said that Harrison Barnes would be a average at best NBA plaer and have been calling him Harrison Bust for the past two years. I said that Brandon Knight was a bad pick too. If you don't believe me just do a search with those guys names, this board and my old username; Sonrise. I'm not good at many things, but I have a knack for spotting "under the radar"talent and seeing over rated and/or bad talent before almost everyone else.

The reason why you feel you are getting ripped is not, because you think these guys will be good. We all know that they have the potential. You are drawing criticisim because your enthusiasim for them APPEARS to down play our young players. Kabongo will be conisidered very successful if he could manage to have the career Kemba is having. I say all the time Rajon is a great pointguard, but we will never know how much of his greatness came from playing with three future hall of famers his entire career. Kemba is passing to one of the worst front courts in nba history. Circumstances play a big part in a players success as well.
And as far as picking out good players goes we all do that. We all find diamonds, and we all make mistakes. So if you actually think that you are better at picking good players than the rest of us you are probably fooling yourself. These are the picks I wanted us to make the last nine years.
2004- I wanted to trade whoever and what ever for Dwight.
2005- I wanted Felton and Grainger.
2006- I wanted Rudy Gay.
2007- I wanted Noah and Morris Almond.
08- Like many people I almost wet my pants when Brooke Lopez was available for us to pick, and did when we picked Augustine.
09- I did want Gerald.
11- I wanted Kawhi and Fareid.
12. Last year I wanted Thomas Robinson and Draymond Green.

MountBiyombo mentioned that he wanted to draft Morris Almond in 2005 so I don't think he was exactly inserting "who turned out to be very good/best available player" with that admission.

Re: The Official "Build For The Future" Thread
I'll tell you who I actually wanted:
2006: (first year I followed us closely): Ammo (yeah I know, I actually though he'd be good)
2007: I remember not liking much with our first pick and then either Dudley or Fernandez with our second, and then i was thrilled when we traded for Richardson, because I'd been a fan of his in GS)
2008: I was hoping Westbrook fell to us, if not him then I was hoping for Bayless (I know, just as bad as Augustin if not worse)
2009: I was hoping one of Derozan, Henderson, or T-Will fell to us.
2010: We didn't have a pick but I remember wanting to trade for a 2nd rounder to get Terrico White
2011: I did in fact want some combination of Biz, Faried, and Kawhi and have mentioned that several times
2012: Was torn between MKG and Drummond

Do you think we could trade our 1st this year and pick up Rivers? Or do we need to add more?

You appear to be confusing me with Jesus; he is without spot or wrinkle. I am wrong quite often, heck I'm married, I wake up wrong.

Our players suck too, he'd fit right in.
