I think they would play better with Ves, Kevin and Glen getting some minutes.

PS this is the second game the refs have been against us. It feels like back when refs didn't get that Washington and Gilbert were going to the playoffs, so were always calling against us. Until we proved we could win despite the calls.

Wall, glad you are doing well, true confidence doesn't need a dance though. Great quarter.
Harrington is going to be very good for us.
Maynor is an awful fit for us. We need a quick attacking PG, not a slow the pace down guy (when we have few players that can create their own shot when things slow down).
Seraphin is not a guy your draw plays for and post up as part of that play.
Loving Gortat still.
alot of people on the Philly & general board have said the same about Wall but I disagree. Thats just his passion. He does that all the time when we are going well. Its not about showing up the opponent. He just stays fired up like that and thats how he acted during his whole dominant run last year

Barelywawake--Maynor isn't a bad fit. He's a bad player. There's a difference.

I think I have counted one actual offense set so far.
Only think working is when Wall and just making something happen and in transition.
Offense looks horrible.

Right. I understand. And he also has lapses of confidence. True confidence goes beyond emotional rolls. As he matures, and his dominance becomes expected by fans and himself, he won't need the "self-psyche..." Unless it's game six of the finals.

What else would you expect from Randy Wittman?
President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Team looks great when Wall gets out and pushes it.
Maynor should not be playing in the second half if this is close

Yes, I know the general board feeling about Maynor. He is an efficient passer, so on a team where players can create their own shot, his lack of speed can be better hidden. Which was my point.

that was a bs call on Gortat. I hate it when players touch the ball too so Im not upset like alot of people are but Gortat just caught it when it came through the hoop. thats a natural thing. It should only be when guys go out there way to touch it

Very stupid.
I hated Randy's rotation to start last year and I hate them again at the start of this year.
Gotta get Glen in the game. This team has only Wall who can drive. You have to get Glen in there to help with that.
And there is no reason to resign Webster if you aren't going to set him up for corner 3s like they did last year. Just a waste of 5M they way they are doing things.
And Ves getting zero minutes in 1.5 games is just messed up. Dude lead the team in rebounding in the preseason and put in a good summer. And this is how you do him. Thats messed up.

Re: Game Thread #2 Wiz vs Philly Home Opener Nov 1, 7PM
First half thoughts:
Wall should play no less than 20 minutes in the second half. Teams offense, especially in transition, takes a huge hit without him on the floor.
Gortat still looks a little lost out there, but it's clear what type of impact he can have once he settles in. Him and Nene will work well together.
Beal looks good spotting up, just needs to settle down a bit and let the game come to him.

Gortat looks stressed in his DC debut.
