Any GM that picks Giannis over Wiggins in a redraft needs brain surgery.

What actually Wiggins has better than Giannis other than the easier skill to work (jumper)? Giannis has elite handles for 6'11 great passing/vision that Wiggins didnt show.

Not to mention defense as well.
Just watch him play people, you will understand the hype in no time

D is Wiggins calling card too. Lets say that they are equal on that aspect.

Il give you that even tho arguably Giannis has played a better defense this season but lets Wiggins more time since he is a rookie.

My only question is on why so many pull out the raw and overhyped card when it comes to Giannis.
What else people expect an 19 years old to do in order to get their approval ?

Choker is a bit salty about the Bucks. Too many backfired Bargnani threads I think. :D

Well, it's hard for a player to gain someone's approval when that person would rather read a box score than watch them perform. Not singling out anyone by the way, just making a (potentially unfair) generalization on his seemingly growing number of skeptics. I've been catching more Bucks games because of Jabari, and it's clear as day to me that this kid Giannis is just as special as anyone from the past two drafts. The exception being Embiid, who is in that rare Hakeem/Duncan tier as far as ceilings are concerned. The only thing that would possibly lead me to believe he's all hype and no substance are raw stats.

Yeah, there is no chance I'd draft Wiggins ahead of Giannis.

The multiple fans sincerely comparing him to magic might play a role in that, too.

You mean like one poster in the entire thread with a play on words/pun for a username?

Nope, in threads prior to this season he was compared to magic by multiple fans. I'm a fan of the kid, but still think some people need to tone it down with him.

It's not hype with Giannis anymore, he really is the best player on our team. It's really obvious when you watch.

Believe it or not, Giannis is underrated on this board now by a lot of non Bucks fans. The hype from last year really made some people sick of hearing about him when he wasn't putting up numbers, now everyone just dismisses him as overhyped whenever his name gets brought up.

I'm not saying Giannis will 100% be better than Wiggins, but you're very ignorant if you think it's laughable to take Giannis over him in a redraft.

I blame lilojmayo for saying his floor was Scottie Pippen , the amount of people who quoted that without knowing how much of a troll lilojmayo is....

Speaking as a Bucks fan going back to their first season, Giannis has the most potential of any Bucks player except KAJ. That's how highly I think of him.

Giannis Antetokounmpo actually has more potential than Anthony Davis but, AD is more likely reach his potential than Giannis Antetokounmpo.
AD is one of the guys i admire watching the most but, Giannis Antetokounmpo on the court is another level of joy.

i wasnt posting on these boards last year so i dont know what type of hype giannis got.

I agree he's a bit hyped up by Bucks fans but hard not to be excited about young talent. Don't want to compare him to anybody but I think he'll be a very good glue type player.

Come on guys, overreaction posts are everywhere on those forums, but saying someone would draft him over Wiggins is not one of them. Wiggins is great prospect by his own right and down the road could be the best of the two, but saying that Giannis is better prospect has legit arguments.

You guys should really try watching him once, he's incredibly entertaining

Yeah no chance he gets picked over wiggins in a redraft. Per 36 stats are a great way to inflate a players output. He's playing well but lets not get carried away.

He's playing much better than Wiggins and they are both 19. I know Wiggins is a rookie, but Giannis was playing with Teenagers in Greece not much over a year ago. Giannis has a serious case over Wiggins

Even if you don't take him #1, would you take him at 2?

Digging him at the 4. All that talk of being a point guard was stupid, being a combo 3/4 and causing a mismatch at either spot was always going to be his best usage.
