Kawhi Leonard vs. other top tier SF's this year

If we see Lebron's playoff version last year, which I am fairly certain we will come April... Kawhi's simply not on that level. Durant is also very clearly better. So at the most he's #3 and comparable to George.

It's easy to look past the Spurs supporting cast... but really, it's so powerful that LMA can practically take the night off against the East's best and SA will still pull it off.

Boris Diaw (efficient O, mature leadership and great defense. your ultimately role player)
Manu (will warm up in a couple months)

Green (hasn't found the shooting touch yet, but when he will... oh boy).

Then there's what you would call the "rest"

Boban (no, really. this guy's GOOD), Mills, Simmons, DAVID WEST. Outside of Mills they're all 50+ % FG shooters!

Spurs are ranked #3 in offense with Danny Green shooting at 36%. This is too stacked of a team. There's no other team in the league that can afford a luxury night off like the Spurs can. We're quite possibly seeing a historically great team here.

I've loved and believed in Kawhi's game for longer than eveb most Spurs fans but jesus his bandwagon fans and stans are annoying asf

I guess if being a fan of his since Hill was traded for him makes you a "bandwagon fan"...i am a bandwagon fan. Never watched him at SDSU religiously like you did, apparently...

notice i said bandwagon fans and stans. i'd actually consider myself a kawhi stan but i'm not delusional about how good he is, like some are. watching him come from no jumpshot at all, to chip making him serviceable in his very first season, to watching him in workout videos with Tmac shooting fadeaways and then this season was a very rewarding experience. i don't need to try to level him with prime kobe or lebron out of fandom

Updated OP with 2 additional games (Melo again, and LeBron). Kawhi had a poor shooting game today (sub 50%), but still managed to have the best all around game on both teams. Excellent display and stepping up his game on a national stage...played above his averages while holding LeBron to below his averages in PPG,AST, more TO, etc...

the most important stat is:
LeBron +9
Kawhi -5

This has nothing to do with last night game but single game plus minus is an utterly stat. Two months of plus minus data has little value
