Definitely.
They are the cause of most of our poor perimeter defense, and many of our turn overs too.

Unbreakable99 wrote:Since Okakor will be our PF going further is there any chance he can be as good as Anthony Davis offensively? Davis played Center for Kentucky and is now the best PF in the NBA. Okafor had a more offensive mindset and arsenal than Davis in college. Can he extend his range like Davis though? I guess we will find out.

9/15DFGA tonight for Jah, but did a solid job challenging shots. Not much lapses on defensive rotations. Needs to improve activity on chasing rebounds.

First game I've watched in a while. Thought he was really impressive offensively, but handled double teams terribly. Thought I read he was improving in that department?

FWIW, his DRtg was 126 for the game. People have been saying that his defense has improved all season. I'm not seeing it.

Less lapses on defensive rotations. He's actually doing a good job challenging shots and rotating to scorers. It's just those shots are going in, the past two games. His defensive numbers were good prior to that.Watched the tape, like last night Jason Smith had 2-3 mid range shots with good close out from Jah.
He also has been moving his feet well on defense. That is from guarding Teague, Milsap, Deron, Parsons and deron (except for that one nice cross by deron last night) on iso or closeout from perimeter.

I saw there's some problem with Jah getting back to his man after a missed shot from him, because opposing Cs usually guard him then opposing PFs would then leak out. Nerlens should probably chase the PF and they'd switch on d. It's a communication issue.
