The clippers have made the playoffs the last 5 years in a row and they're playing one of the best teams ever assembled. The awful truth is we have a backcourt finally.

CLee looked excellent
Jennings can help
Rose looks viable
Holiday may well be a prime 2nd unit guard

and we haven't scratched Randle or Baker yet

and there will always be Sasha

After years of abysmal backcourts this is way better

They still have to learn how to play together, but with CLee & Holiday we should be able to have a defensively capable guard on the floor at all times. Wish everyone was a good defensive player, but we're talking about a team that rarely had even one so lets consider where we are an improvement

When KP was snapping the net from deep tonight did anyone else get a KD vibe?

With his handles improving I expect to see him start taking people off the dribble from high up and getting into the paint or pulling up for a mid-range

Their strokes are both wet. Just felt more of the KD vibe tonight than the usual Dirk comparison

They did not look good. That's for sure. I'm now very intrigued by what MDA and the Rox will do. It seems like a great match, no? Especially with Ryan Anderson. As I said in the GT - him taking that Lakers job was a career killer. Square peg in a round hole. This is money. If he messes it up, he ain't getting another gig.

Yeah.. Rose has to score a little more than he did last year.. Porzingis needs to shoot 18-20 times minimum and Noah needs to play make and qb the D. We'll make the playoffs. We need to run that Rose/Jennings Porzingis Pick and pop to death.

Absolutely. IMO, this whole thing relies on Noah and how much he has left. If he's solid on the defensive end they should be ok. If he misses a ton of time they're screwed. KP needs to be the guy offensively. Pick and pop all game.
