i feel like we have been trying to upgrade backup pg for about 15 years.

There appears to be a good crop of PG's in the next draft class. Might be able to land a long term solution one there?

Ball is the guy who stands out to me, but he'll likely go too high for us.

Maybe we should target Tyreke Evans. Never been much of a fan of his, but he could be what our bench needs and is probably (should be) available.

Lamb + Sessions for Tyreke or
A protected 1st + Sessions + filler (Harrison or whatever) for Tyreke

There's enough shooting in the second unit, just let him dominate the ball, basically running point while defending the wing.

Still sticking to trying to get Brandon Knight. His value is low right now and we should be able to get him without the 1st round pick.

I'd be 100% behind that idea.

Feels like Knight's been around forever but he's still 24. Could easily see Clifford coaxing starter production out of him off the bench. In fact I'd be surprised if he couldn't.

I say resign Lance Stephenson when he gets healthy and see between him and Sessions which can muddle up the 2nd unit's offense the worst.

I'd do it with our 1st rounder. Hawes + Sessions + 1st for Knight should be an easy yes for both teams when Sessions becomes available to trade.

How about Sessions + Hawes for Patrick Beverly + Brewer? MDA could get some use out of a floor spreading, ball moving C, they keep a serviceable backup PG, and we get a better fitting PG and a defensive wing as MKG insurance.

Knight's VORP as a 22/23 year old with Milwaukee was 1.6. Best lineups were lower usage players who could pass/shoot like Zaza, Dudley, Mayo, and of course KM. Or in other words, CHA's 2nd unit.

VORP Overall: 68th
VORP Guards: 25th for all SG and PG's.
VORP under-23's: 9th ahead of Noel, Smart, Beal, Mirotic, Drummond, Oladipo, etc...

What do you think it would take to get Rubio?

I like the idea about Brandon Knight. He is a starting caliber PG and will be an elite sixth man for us. Trade for him while his value is low.

I'll take him if they agree to trade him straight for our very own Marco Balboa.

im not really interested in knight or rubio.

knight chucks too much and rubio gets hurt too much.

if i had to pick i would pick rubio though. we already have kemba so knight is a bit unneeded.

Jrue Holiday is going to take us to the next level.

Get revenge on New Orleans Cho and take them to the cleaners.

I think Holiday is a good fit here. Would people trade Hawes and Lamb for him?

Expiring contract so if we can't trade for him I'm on board to sign him.

I wouldn't move Lamb for him, but I'd definitely go for moving Hawes, Sessions, and a pick (if we're confident he re-signs). Realistically though I don't think New Orleans is interested in trading him, at least not yet. If they continue to lose I imagine they'll fire up the tank engine, they'd consider trading him for a draft pick then I think.
