Re: WCQF | (4) LA Clippers vs Utah Jazz (5) | TIED 0-0
Barring a Blake Griffin shut down and/or LAC injury, LAC should win this in 5 or 6. 43-18, 7.5 SRS with Chris Paul in the lineup. +14.2 net rating team with Chris Paul on the court. Paul should get scaled up to 36 - 38 minutes and control this series in a sound victory, IMO.
Griffin is still a wildcard against this froncourt, though.

Swinging for the fences.

Hayward is the best player in the series, wit gobert probably second. I'm a little skeptical of the Jazz bench but they should win in 6

I'll eat my hat if the Clips don't win this in 5 or 6. I don't actually own a hat.

I love Gobert's game but I'd still give the nod to Hayward

I have a feeling the Clippers will lose. Don't know why people are acting like experience is a big deal when we are talking about the first round. It seems like it's been difficult for them to have both Griffin and Paul healthy in the playoffs.

Whatever team ended up with home court advantage was going to win this, so Clips in 7.

I feel like the Clippers are going to win this series because they have to. If they're eliminated in the first round, when healthy, how do you hand out two max contracts this summer to keep it going for another five years? I suppose you can fire Doc and look to trade some people after they're re-signed but for this group, this is it.

Clippers in 6...
Again days off in this series is key, 4 days total between the first 3 games alone...clearly favors the Clippers. Jazz match up well with Clippers as they showed during their season battles. But with CP3 getting those 4 days means fresher legs, he will be the reason the Clippers win the series

I believe clippers should win. However I wouldn't be surprised to see them lose.
Hayward needs to up his offense he can cruise on D matched up against Mbah Moute. Besides Luc no one else should be able to matchup well with him.

Easily the most criticized player on this forum.
How so? You can't say anything critical about him without a bunch of people (mostly fans of other teams) swarming to his defense and coming up with excuses for why nothing is ever his fault.
Paul isn't even the most criticized Clipper on this forum. Blake Griffin has become the Pau Gasol or Russell Westbrook of the Clippers - the designated scapegoat that always gets the blame no matter what. You would think he's a total scrub from how he's talked about on here.
I'm not sure what the discussions have been at the Clippers board over the past few years, but based on the stuff I read on the General Board, I definitely think that CP3 is one of the most criticized for how good of a player he is. Here, I constantly read that he's considerably worse than Harden, Westbrook and Curry; and some even put him at the level of Lowry and Thomas. Due to his lack of success in the playoffs, he's always labeled as a perennial loser. The way I look at it is that he's one of those guys who just has had much success in the playoffs. Unfortunately, it just happens to happen that someone like Blake Griffin (another guy who's a great player, but just marred with injuries) also happens to be on the same team as he is.
