Re: The Big Three Draft Discussion
Not sure I made the right call but I wanted a monster at the 4 next to Wilt and good perimeter defender so I'm happy

I would've been high on a West, Frazier, Goodrich, Debusschere, Reed, Wilt team

Re: The Big Three Draft Discussion
I thought you were thinking of another trio, Dr. Regardless I feel pretty good about selecting the Knicks trio in this round--good fit and worked out with what I needed. In fact they were the last duo to be left from Round 1 from the teammates draft where they went 10th.

Re: The Big Three Draft Discussion
I made a spreadsheet with all the roster so far. I added to the draft thread as well. Anybody can edit the google sheet when picks are made. Not sure what you guys had your depth charts so I just went with what I thought it would be, but change it if you would like too with your preference. Link below!

Some of the teams I like so far who have made their Round 2 picks-LA Bird, Bd, KN, Dr. Positivity, and Snakebites.

Barring some miracle, I think SuperDario has won this game.
GSW trio + an elite two way defensive center and 2 cheap defensive role players with enough FGA left for a star in his final pick.

Re: The Big Three Draft Discussion
Are we really doing an 8-minute minimum, or was that just copied and pasted from a previous OP? I'm normally in favour of that rule but it seems like a bit of a stretch in a 9-player draft.

I don't think we should change that when we're two thirds of the way through the draft.

Disagree totally. The Golden State trio is a great start, but it isn't Mike, LeBron, and Shaq.

I would have almost assuredly selected a different trio in the second round had I known that I could skimp one of them minutes.

I would be OK with dropping down to a 6 min rule

Went back and forth between Ewing and another (cheaper) available C. Still debating if I made the right call.

I'm sort of regretting NOT taking him.

Sorry mate, I had a bad feeling Laimbeer was going to snag Ewing the pick before mine

That was one of toughest picks I've ever made. I had like four options worth considering, but saw the opportunity to get a couple of third/fourth round talents late in the 4-5-6 round with a decent bench piece. I'm also seeing a number of good centers left (though Ewing was the best).

For that reason I almost waited until next round to draft C. Ewing just seemed too good to pass up. There's 3-4 perimeter players I have my eye on but not sure if they'll last.

Yea when Ewing fell to one of the top 3 teams I figured it was doom for most of the rest of us, although I like the Price and Nance fit on Laimbeer's team as well
