Bulls are in tank mode. No way they take longer contracts unless we give them an asset.

Knicks get Chandler and our 2021 2nd rnd pick back from the Sixers
Chicago gets Fultz and Kanter
Sixers get Parker and Holiday and a 2nd from Chicago

I'd like to get Patton from the Sixers if we wait till Jan 11th we could swap him for Kornet maybe?

That's actually not a bad Trade. NY would probably want to send CLee in the deal instead tho. :dontknow:

I would too but figure it would cost us.

Probably not. We can jettison the pick coming back to us and just do the Players. Or swap the second we currently have with our own that's coming back. Send Cash too. :dontknow:

I don't see a reason why the Bulls would want to pick up longer term money.

where the f*ck do I sign up? Maybe send them burke too

I would do this...sounds like something bulls might do as well

bulls also save 3 million off the cap this year with this trade.

If only realGM boards were actual GMs...

A CLee type trade might get it done. I don't see the Jazz offer for him getting done so their options might not be there.

What value does Lee have to CHI? I’m lost why a team would trade an expiring asset for more $.

I know. I saw your response after I finished posting. Still not sure "Paxson is stupid. Let's take advantage" is an adequate answer to why would a conference rival give us an expiring that will surely open up 1, maybe 2 stars coming to NY, for a chucker maligned by the ENTIRE fanbase.

:(

If the Bulls are tanking, shouldn’t they want our players? They’re playing well and our record is still awful. Bulls can guarantee themselves a tank for the next two years!

They aren't going to be good anytime soon. Might as well get something out of his expiring deal.

Lee Frank and Dotson for Jabari it is.

Im not using Dotson for a salary dump and probably not Frank either

A bit of off-topic, but its sad how it looks like we are stuck with Lee and I don't even know if we could dump him in the summer when he becomes expiring.

He was coming of his best season as a pro, but now dude went to the G-league and is averaging 15mins and 5ppg.

Should've traded him in the summer, I don't believe there weren't offers. Korver got traded for two 2nds. Yes, he has cheaper deal, but Lee is a better player. Just gives us one 2nd, or just expirings.

I'm still under the presumption that this whole "rumor" is a load of *****, but if it weren't I wouldn't hesitate to get rid of either, and I LOVE what Dotson brings while I'm incredibly disappointed in Frank. If you can get not only Kanter's salary off the books, but Timmy's as well, then cut Jabari and run a real tank for Zion, while keeping KP, you don't think twice. That's as close to the perfect situation as the Knicks will EVER see. You keep KP, still keep Knox, Keep MitchRob, keep Trier, draft Zion and if you have commitments from 2 stars you add a future pick to get rid of Lee. That could be:

Kyrie/
Knox/Trier
KD
Zion
KP/MitchRob

or better yet

Kyrie
Kawhi (or Klay)/Trier
Knox
Zion
KP/MitchRob

We've never seen something like that in out lives and it will never come around again.

EDIT: Think about what you're saying - Frank and Dotson mean more to me than 2 potential max Free Agents!
