This wasn't a blue wave... it was an incremental shift ever so slightly with the major change at the top, yes, is more than just a symbolic change but the impact has to be felt with the voters or we will find ourselves with an even worse yet more presentable version of right wing fascism in 2024 coming out of the GOP.

Look moving forward the Democratic Party has to be united. No sniping at each other, no back biting, you don’t see Republicans doing this **** publicly. They move in one direction. Democrats need to figure out a **** national policy platform that everyone can talk to no matter the area. Democrats will never win red states and rural areas as long as AOC and Ilhan Omar can be demonized as the face of the Democratic Party. Look that’s just a reality. These stupid **** in Florida really believe that Biden is a Trojan horse for Socialist Kamala Harris :banghead: we’re living two different realities where Progressives believe she’s a Republican in sheep’s clothing and the right wing believe she’s a Socialist. It makes no **** sense and everyone is stupid. If Democrats ever want to retake the Senate and keep the house they need to start figuring out to move united as a party

If it's a 50-50 tie, then we win because the VP breaks the tie. So long as we enact by either reconciliation or 51 majority, we're good to go.

Also can’t overlook the moderate GOP senators that can refocus on their state constituents and not just overall party politics.

And this should officially end the Democratic strategy of trying to turn Republican voters. There were **** Senators that ran ahead of Trump despite clinging to his nuts, enabling his criminal behavior and voting to AQUIT him of an obvious **** crime! The only lesson the Republican Party will learn from this is that next time they need to select a racist, facist, authoritarian prick who isn’t on twitter as much. Democrats need to focus on a turnout game and activating new voters. **** this turning Republicans bull.

Chuck **** Schumer needs to step down as minority leader. I’m not a fan of needlessly **** on Democrats, but he dropped the **** ball big time. He had so many shots at thing and he completely **** the bed. Biden might win but this was not a good result for Democrats. It took the combined force of historic voter turnout, the Republicans publicly speaking out against their own party, tons of money from Bloomberg to narrowly beat Trump. Democrats in the house absolutely under performed. DNC, DCCC, DNSC all need to be fired and cleaned out because they have no **** clue what they’re doing. I remember so many grassroots organizations saying that the DNC needs to invest in communities and put boots on the ground instead instead of just dropping in 2 months before elections. They need to heavily invest in African American and Latino outreach and figure out a strategy to actually reach rural voters or else forever lose the Senate.

The graham and collins losses are absolutely inexcusable, that plus Pelosi losing congress seats tells me they both need to step down and let some new blood in the leadership roles. If Biden wins in spite of all this, it tells me that his strategy worked for him and only him. Im hoping that Biden breaks the record for executive orders. Only way **** will get down on his watch.

How's it looking Polk is it time to send in the banjo players and have us a hoedown? Some of the folk in here are crazier than a run over dawg. Tell me it's all over but the howlin' like a banshee, is it?

You know what I think about Nate's them thar polls? If wishes were horses then beggars would ride.

I'd imagine some faces tomorra will be red as a pickled beet and they'll feel as hot as a fox in a forest fire. Don'tcha think?

Anyaways...let me play you a little tune and have some fun! How about some duelin' banjos!

Get over it. The majority of those mail in ballots are coming from rural counties who can't support polling sites. This thing is ooooovaaaaa.
 they are going to try and contest PA. I don't think it will matter. Trump will sweep Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, Nevada and Wisconsin to win. That is the path right now. Still looking very good for us.

Well, a fully progressive agenda is unlikely, but it doesn't mean a Biden administration would be completely ineffectual either.

Biden would have the ability to sign executive orders, similar to what Obama did when the Senate began blocking everything he ever tried to accomplish. Biden also still has friends in the Senate. If he can sway 1 or 2 he might be able to move some things through.

Naw Graham was always a long shot. Remember South Carolina went overwhelmingly Trump. Biden won Maine! How the **** do you not run a strong candidate against Susan “I’m deeply troubled Collins” *furrowed brow intensifies* NC was up for grabs, should have picked someone who can keep his dick in their pants. Iowa should have been closer as well. Im starting to think that the only way to win in red states against a Republican woman is to run a male candidate because you can’t count on the woman vote, might as well use their own misogyny against them. Yes I hope Biden governs by exec order, but Democrats need to call out the game and explain why. This is why Schumer’s not up to it. You need a pit bull like Sheldon Whitehouse who isn’t afraid to call Republicans on their ****. These people are weaklings afraid of tweets. Pelosi is fine where she is, but she’s on thin ice.

I don’t for a second believe that McConnell won’t obstruct. Guess what goes to the Supreme Court next week? These 67 million dumb mother **** voted to end their own healthcare with no chance of a replacement, good job you dipshits.

Listen you’re on some of the best Colombian coke if you believe Republicans would work with Biden to get anything passed. These guys could even pass anything during the 2 years where they controlled all 3 branches of Congress. Like I’ve been saying for years Republicans are why the country is broken.

Good point!

With Trump out of the way, Senators would be able to vote their conscience instead of being fearful of a Trump backlash.

Election Week live: Trump and Biden scrap for votes in uncalled election

https://www.politico.com/live-news-updates/2020/11/04/online-election-coverage-2020-results-polls-reaction-201104

These really are headlines no one needs. No one is scrapping for anything. Neither party can take an active role in gathering votes that haven't already been cast. Why don't these people think about their own headlines?

He may not be quiet, but he won't have any real power to bring the hammer down on anyone for their votes like he does now.

Also, he'll be very busy trying to stay out of jail. NY State is waiting for him with handcuffs.
