Let's not forget there are a lot of transplants in New York. A lot of Bay Area people have moved there (and everywhere else) over time so it's not surprising to me.

Those chants were not for Tim Hardway. You guys are so delusional

No those chants were not louder than the ones for Steph at Barclays. Youre just making stuff up now.

I've literally seen Deron Williams receive MVP chants at the Garden when the Nets were winning.

I've seen Kobe receive MVP chants at TD Garden too.

When opposing fanbases show up you hear chants. You guys just want an excuse to attack Nets fans.

What all five of you lol!!!!!!!!

Bkn got embarrassed yesterday!!!!!

I feel bad because a team with that talent should have the fan base to back it up!!!!!!!

They’ll never be truly appreciated like they should because no one in NY cares about that franchise!!!!!!!

Lol if the Knicks had KD, no way there would be those chants. Hell no way, the Garden is empty. Hell even if there is no KD, no way the Garden is empty. That’s just how we roll. Then again, we wouldn’t take that shat that Harden and Kyrie has been giving y’all either. That ain’t New York.

I honestly don’t know what’s wrong with the Nets. Even the Heat could get bandwagoners and people to show up late to games. You guys have to give away playoff tickets.

Nobody cares about the Knicks either except old people. Worst run franchise in sports.

One good year doesn't change it.

Wait till the Knicks miss the playoffs and the Nets are in the Finals this or next. Things will change quickly.

Knicks have worse attendance this year than the Nets. Look it up. Can't even fill the Garden with a playoff team.

Without Durant, Curry is 1-2 in the Finals. Zero FMVPs. Hardly a "winner" when comparing him to other winners of the last 20 years (Kobe, Duncan, Shaq, LeBron).

That's Rip Hamilton level of "winner". Key cog on a TEAM championship, but incapable of carrying team to a win by himself.

When KD joined, those extra 2 rings that Durant (alpha, FMVP) helped Curry win are the only reasons that Curry can be mentioned as a true "winner". No KD = 1-2 in the Finals, with KD 2-0, bringing him to a positive win % in the Finals.

so 3 finals and a title as the best player on the team...

Nobody except Lebron has a better playoff resume this generation

What are you considering "this generation"?

KD has been to the finals 3x and won 2 FMVPs
Kawhi has been to the finals 3x and won 2 FMVPs, with different teams

So you'll exclude the 17 and 18 titles for Curry but not for Durant? You'll imply Curry is a role player because he didnt win Finals MVP but ignore that Kawhi actually was a role player for his title and finals appearances in san antonio?

I was replying to your post, you said "Curry has 3 Finals and a title as best player on his team". Nobody is doubting that Curry was absolutely the best player on his team during that season + playoff run. However, in the Finals, IGGY stepped up not Curry.

KD has TWO as the best player on his team. He stepped up.

Kawhi stepped up when it mattered most in San Antonio. Series tied 1-1 going back to Miami for two straight games. Kawhi said nah F that, let me put up 24/9/2/2/2 on 69%/54%/84% shooting splits for those 3 crucial games. Is 24/9/2/2/2 on 69/54/84 a role player? While doing this to LeBron?

https://www.espn.com/blog/statsinfo/post/_/id/91407/kawhi-leonard-wreaking-havoc-on-lebron

So again, I ask you, is this role player territory? Just because he wasn't a household name, and played with Duncan/Parker/Ginobili, doesn't mean he wasn't the most impactful player and extremely deserving of the FMVP. He got it done on both ends of the court for a majority of the series.

The Knicks, the supposed God child of NYC can't even get 90% of their arena filled. I wonder why?

Even worse than the Nets. They have a playoff team with an All Star.

Why doesn't NYC care about the Knicks?
