I know Alex works with guys after they get hurt, but at what point do we start to question why the Raps get so many injuries?

Alot of it is embellished. Or for lack of a better term load management. Think of it this way. You have three players that all want 20 shots a game with OG, Pascal and Trent. If those three players all only play 60 games they all get more minutes, shots, stats and ultimately a better statline when contract negotiations come. Right. OG and Siakam with no Trent, Trent and OG with no Siakam. etc. Means more shots. Thats the promise the Raptors seem to give to their players under Nurse and Masai.

Are you seriously suggesting the team rotates pretend injuries on purpose so guys get more shots and minutes when it's their turn?

the raptors can only have a max of 3 G-League call-ups in the lineup and need 8 total players.

Blake said no this kind of rule, they are still going to play as long as have 8 players able to dress up

Yah This has been clarified. There is no "5 roster player" rule. It's just 8 players needed.

So why was that being posted here as if true, the 5 roster player rule? Was it ever true?
Have any teams already played with only 4 roster players?

The rules have been complicated and have changed quickly. I'm guessing someone just got confused.

Not even sure if the 4 roster players rule is legit. Blake seems to think 8 is all that's needed.

This is by no means a "for sure" loss.

I could see banton going off for 40 like he was doing in g league. Plus if there was ever an important time for a janky coach....this is it.

The coaches will be duking it out in tomorrow's game. Adjustments will be crucial.

8 is the absolute minimum you need to field a team.

With Garland, Cleveland definitely has the best player of the two teams available. I mean they still have Rubio and Kevin love as well. I would say Cleveland has the advantage. Even if Tacko is in their starting lineup.

Assuming this game gets played, I expect us to get blown out. I could be wrong, but yeah. Not looking good

Thats what happens when role players can play in a role that feeds off star players. It would’ve been the same in Toronto with a top 10 player.

Having 8 players by itself is already a tough task but having 8 players and only 4 of them being actual guys from your team is just ridiculous

OKC one step ahead of the game. Just out sourced that tank. Clippers are about to collapse.

So another postponement unless we sign 10

Love, Rubio and Garland plus way more players who have played together. I think it is pretty likely a loss if not ‘for sure’.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

I'm going to watch. It will be interesting with the NBA having resorted to the "come hell or high water" approach to presenting its' product.
