remember when ty lue tricked everyone into thinking he finally saw the light and was going to start playing covington more while putting marcus morris on the shelf, and then instead he started morris started while telling covington (and the fans) "GFY" while the clips won a squeaker against a team missing half its relevant players

like, 95% probability that this happens, so i just wanna get it ready so i can quote myself being snippy and right like usual

I feel you there. Winning this way staves off embarrassment in the short term, but it might even be worse than losing in the long run. Now we're guaranteed to be stuck watching the status quo with Lue and Morris for even longer, even though we know it doesn't work against actual NBA lineups.

Luke: 5-5 from three. Like I said after we traded him, just watch how a real coach unlocks him.

Memphis didn't do anything differently than the Clippers did to get Kennard shots. He was just open far too much tonight. We already knew he is about is automatic as it gets when he is open. The problem is that he basically only shoots if he is wide open. For this season, I'd rather have Gordon than Kennard. Gordon is better at all of the other aspects of the game and is a good 3 point shooter too- not as good as Kennard, but he has deeper range

btw, irony of all this is the team winning (despite it having to be a comeback against a team missing most of their key pieces) means that lue now has more excuse to keep trotting out morris while keeping covington on the bench.

i mean it's 1-5 since the westbrook addition but this 1" win could end up costing the team even more, if it merely only confirms to lue that he should keep playing morris over covington. and russ over mann.

note that morris played 25 minutes. and had 5 points. and 2 rebounds. and made only two shots.

it's a W that's actually kind of a L. i keep saying it every game and incredibly even after the team's first win in ages, i feel like i gotta say it again: keep on lowering those expectations.

This iteration of Clippers failed big time and I'm calling the head of Ty Lue, Kawhi and PG together since the moment this trio asked(cryed) for Russ. The signing was the final draw for me to sorry about their weak aşs. TBH watching Russ gave me more enjoy than watching 213 on the court recent week. Bring me Brooklyn Nets route 100%

But regardless of what it is, You can't call people out with how much we endure your stupid +/- takes all year. PG-Kawhi-Lue being a weak aşş doesn't have any relation the lineup şhitpiles you daily posted here. FO

Luke is taking 5.4 FGA/G in 22 mpg with Memphis. He was taking 6.0 FGA/G in 21 mpg here. He had a good 3PT shooting night against his former team. He was shooting 36/44 in the previous 6 games, be small sample size, but nothing has happened to make a claim that Memphis has unlocked him in any way.
